Hi all, Ive been trolling here for awhile getting ideas and researching various things and I finally have a reason to post. Im posting because I need some advice. I had 2 15" alpine type R subs come way for dirt cheap. $150 for both I need help deciding on an enclosure, an amp, and even a head unit. I honestly dont know my 'goals' as its been a very long time since I have had a system. A long time ago when they were new I had 1 MTX 9500 sub that I really enjoyed. I am new here of course just stopping in for some advice and good fun. I competted in many db drags ten years ago but I laid off due to the military. I was always that guy that wanted the highest db and got away from sq and now that I am older I require more sq and less db. With that being said I am glad to be on this forum and hope all is well with everyone.

Hi, I figure I introduce myself since I never been to this forum. My name is Milton and I have been in the car audio game since 2001. I have owned a few subwoofers brands like eD, RE audio, JL, and infinity. I currently have a 13w7 and will soon be selling it since I recently purchase two 12" FI Q's. I am member of caraudio.com but I haven't been there in a while so no one will probably recognize me. Well, that's enought about me. Just wanted to say Hey everyone, and give a quick rundown of my past. I used to run around in a 1995 Lincoln Town Car with an all Alpine setup. Type R components in doors and rear fill run off the headunit and 2 12" Type Rs with an mrp m-1000.. It was okay, but know it's time to step my game up... So i got a 2011 F-150 regular cab with JL Audio C5-570 components in the doors and C2-570 in the rear, powered off a JL XD 400/4. Just waiting for my 2 15" Lethal Injections to get delivered, I'll probably run them off the m-1000 for now until i save up for round 2

I was searching another car audio site and came across a name i havent heard in a while. So i found the FI website and that lead me here. Ive been reading about some of the FI woofers as well. I want that X from the black friday deal. Anyway ill be around here im all over Ca.com just need somewhere else to troll.

hey whats up guys im taylor, i currently live in the woodlands texas abuot an hour north of houston, i will however be moving to san antonio in about 10 months, i have a 95 f150 extended cab, its got a 5.0 v8 with a K&N air intake and a SI/SO flowmaster super 40, my stereo: 2 12" kicker cvr's in a prefab ported box tuned to around 38hz, 6x8 pioneer 3 ways in the rear and 6.5 infinity reference in the front and a dual xdma7715 HU w/ ipod hook ups, i look foward to learning as much as i can from you guys

Whats going on guys? Tito here just wanting to say whats up . I came across the forum by looking up estimated delivery time for the Fi SP4 i ordered a few days ago. I own an 85 mazda rx7 and a 2004 cadillac deville. The 85 rx7 has a simple setup with 2 kicker l5 12s in a prefab ported box, using a jl slash 500 to power them. The 04 deville has 2 sundown X8 in a 4th order bandpads enclosure, powered by a hifonics zues amp, soon to be replaced with 1 Fi SP4 18" in a custom 6.5 cu enclosure tuned to 31hz. I look foward to chatting with u all and learning some new ideas.

This will be my 3rd post in the Newbie section so I may venture out into the general forum population I think the best introduction may be what I am currently working with and were I hope to go. I have a Kenwood head unit, (the model evades me now but its on the way out the door as I bought a new double din today) The mids and highs come courtesy 6.5 and 6x9 Infinity Kappa Reference speakers powered by an Alpine 500 watt amp. The lows are coming to the party via an Incriminator Audio 12" Lethal Injection sub currently mounted in an Atrend SPL box, it's being motivated by an Alpine 650 watt mono-block amp.
