Just wanted to say whats up to everyone and see if ne one could give me some advice or just has ne tips for me on my setup. I drive a 98 gmc jimmy with a yellop top battery and a 160 amp alternator. I have 2 voodoo 1600d class amplifiers running to two kove armageddon z 12 inch subs in a square ported box. The box is built to the specs on the kove site for two subs with no divider in the middle of the box and two square ports tuned to what the site called for. I know a lot of people on here know a lot about these subs. What I have heard is that the box for these subs should be bigger than what the site called for. Also if anyone knows where I can get the ohm on my subs cha…

Hello all. Just checking in from Denver. I will be doing a lot of reading here. Seems like a lot of valuable information. I just got my first truck and its a 2013 SCrew F150. Don't know if I am going to do a sub but full speaker swap with amp is def coming. It's just fun to play around with all kinds of ideas. Daydreaming is fun

Well I figured I'd go ahead and make an account..have been lurking for awhile now. I have a 98 GMC jimmy with 2 SA-15's and I just ordered 2 more 15's today. So I'll be starting a build log soon. I've already learned a lot from the forum and plan to continue learning as I go.

So yeah, I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to car audio.Never even had a sub or an amp. It's about time to fix that.I've been doing a lot of research lately trying to decide what to get and i ended up here.Once i get a couple posts in here I'll be asking some questions in the other sections. So feel free to pop in and drop some knowledge on me.

Hey I have to throw Jacob Fuller a huge thankyou for helping to save my arse at SBN. One of the 3000s i have had a leak in the operating smoke pod (and as we all know if the the smoke is allowed to escape from the amp it stops working... if you don't know, that smoke needs to stay on the inside, once it escapes yor amp will no longer work properly) and Jacob found a way to get me another one. This thread is really bringing to light all of those behind the scenes... not just Jacob or the owners but anyone who has gone out of their way to make their customers' experience a good one. Thanx to all those behind the scenes. If you have had an experience THAT IS POSITIVE please …

Found this place out of the blue, actually. I have been sitting on a BoltarVII for about 12 years - waiting for the right person to have repair it(long story) I came across the Zed repair site which had a link here. I didn't get a response to my inquiry so I'm hoping I can find someone here to take it on. I was in my late teens early twenties when the car audio explosion hit here. I had a friend that was just starting a shop and carried the whole unknown HiFonics line and was totally blown away. Now I'm 42 and looking to get back into it. Hello to all!!!

Hey guys I'm Leon username LSpindenIII Have been here a few times but just now signing up. I am in the South Eastern area of Minnesota I have a 97 Chevy Cavalier that I am still working on. Current setup is a Elemental Designs 13AV.2 off a Hifonics Brutus BXi2006D. I also have a 96 Pontiac Sunfire GT. It is going to be my track car mainly. Currently is all stock except it's fully gutted and added an intake. Future plans is getting another 2.4 and tranny, doing a motor build with all forged internals, port and polished head, oversized valves, secret cams, then slapping on a supercharger and water/meth injection.

Herro, My name is James and am currently living in Japan. I'm new on here and am looking forward to purchasing a Dcon 12 in the very near future. It will be going into a Suzuki Alto Works (ported, just need to get final measurements to fit the box behind the so called rear seat). I currently have a Kenwood I-K77 HU and will be using an old school Nakamichi PA301 I have lying around (I actually have 2 lying around). It's rated for 240 watts at 2 ohms. Do you guys think the 12 will be under powered? I was thinking going with dual 10's but already have a 1 cube sealed box for a 12 that isn't being used. I was gonna use that while the sub breaks in and so I can have time to …
