My old one included- (2) 12 inch Powerbase Extreme Subwoofers (About 800 Watts RMS Each) (1) Elemental Designs NINe.1 (1400 RMS at 14.1v) Here is a pic My future system - I really want the new SSD's (2) 12's depending on the price. I think that will match my needs the most. I want around 1500-1800 RMS and I am still looking for an amp. I hope I dont need to upgrade in the electrical area. I have a 2006 Dodge Charger V8. I'm not really new here, but I don't really hang out and post here alot but will start. I'm on Meade's site quite abit, except for Thansgiving through January for skiing. I'm a bit obsessed with car audio. Enjoy doing systems for friends and helping anyone I can. My friends tell me to get a job in car audio but I'm a little too old to start at the bottom. Here's my new truck The box out of my old car thrown in for some bass Front doors with some CDT 6 1/2" classics And the pheonix gold saphire amp running them I've only had the truck 6 weeks and have alot more to do. Upgrade the front stage, move the current fronts to rear way more power and some bigger subs. Here…

Hey guys, just wanted to sign in and post some info. I found this site looking for info on Sundown amps and I got more than I hoped for here. I have '06 Scion Xb, I spent a lot of money on visual and suspension modifications and it's about time I put some better audio in the car than stockies. I'm on budget as the wifey looks at me with a killer eye every time a new part comes in for the car so I can't get what I want exactly. I wanted to do good front components and good coaxials/components for the back as we always lay front seats flat and sit with our heads right infornt of rear speakers when we go to drive in movies, wanted good Sundown 4 channel for Speakers and 4or2…

Just wanted to check in and say hello to everybody here. Anyways.... I'm not exactly a car audiophile but I do enjoy bass. Currently running 2 sa-12s powered by 1 sax-1200d. Not much car audio going on here in Taiwan, so that means not too much help. Was hoping to learn a few things while I was here. Thx for reading!

Just wanted to say Hey everyone, and give a quick rundown of my past. I used to run around in a 1995 Lincoln Town Car with an all Alpine setup. Type R components in doors and rear fill run off the headunit and 2 12" Type Rs with an mrp m-1000.. It was okay, but know it's time to step my game up... So i got a 2011 F-150 regular cab with JL Audio C5-570 components in the doors and C2-570 in the rear, powered off a JL XD 400/4. Just waiting for my 2 15" Lethal Injections to get delivered, I'll probably run them off the m-1000 for now until i save up for round 2

Hey new guy here from the Akron, Ohio area. I just bought a new 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS. The previous owner f*cked something up with the radio and it sounds like crap. I want to completely pull out the old and put all my new stuff in. I don't know much about audio systems and a friend referred me to this site. He said you guys know what youre doing better than most anyone else on the net. I come looking for suggestions. I was thinking two 12's in a sealed box, I cant afford the ported. Basically for now I want two 12's in the back, enclosed, with a decent amp, for under $300. Is it possible? And although I would rather do it myself, I'm having best buy do it. I'm goin…

My name is Corey and I am from Lansing, Michigan. I have been installing car audio components and designing/building enclosures since I was 14 years old. I will be 32 this year. Needless to say I am hooked! I have always creeped around the forums but never really posted anything. I am in the process of doing my own car now and I figured I would post it up. Look for me in the builds section.

Hello All, I was an installer at a local shop back when I was in high school. We sold mostly JL audio, Audiobahn, JVC, Power Acoustic and a few others I forgot. I am glad I found the site it seems they have more of an informative group here compared to some of the other forums related to this subject. I want to get back in to car audio because I have always enjoyed it and also I just purchased two new vehicles. My first project is my truck. I have a 08 GMC Crew Cab Sierra 1500. I'm looking to spend about 3000 but could possible spend more depending on how big each hit will be! I listen to all types of music but mostly rock, some rap and occasionally country. I like powerf…

I was looking for advise. I think I may be interested in a RL-s 12 for my trunk, but reading the specs and recommendations it seems that it will not fit my needs. I want to put it in my 2005 TL without gobbeling up all my trunk space. Should I be leaning more towards a RL-p 12"? Would a RL-p get me good low bass that I'm looking for? Would 2 12" RL-p's do the Job of one RL-s 12" for the same trunk Space? Any recommendations on an AMP to push the 2 RL-p's? I currently have a RF 301s that ain't doing jack for me. If I went with the 2 12" RL-p's would a bandpass box do the trick? Thanks

I'm the new guy here from the Great Northwest. I'm here to learn what to do and what not to do. I am a big Pioneer Fan, from EXPERIENCE. I used to have the two of the PRS-X720, one of PRS-X320, and one of PRS-X220, two 10's and PRS door speakers. And the unthinkable happen. Everything was stolen on a sunday night. Walk to my car with a broken window, and my hood wide open. They disconnected my batter cables to turn my alarm off and ripped the crap out of my Durango. Well now I'll be building a new system. I live in a group of townhouses where my house is way in the back. The only thing insurance coverd was my dash, door panels, and window. So I get to start all over. My…

Just a brief intro. I'm Josh, 26, from the Houston/Galveston area of TX. I like long walks on the beach and candle lit dinners. Wrong forum? Anyway. I kept coming across this forum while doing research trying to put together a setup for my truck. (turning out to be quite a trick due to space limitations under the back seat) From the short passages I read, it sounds like there are some on here that really know their stuff. I've been reading up a lot on the vendors here on the site and am pretty impressed with all of their products. So, here I am. I registered last night and look forward to learning more and getting to know some of ya'll. Maybe I can be of some help further…
