Found this place out of the blue, actually. I have been sitting on a BoltarVII for about 12 years - waiting for the right person to have repair it(long story) I came across the Zed repair site which had a link here. I didn't get a response to my inquiry so I'm hoping I can find someone here to take it on. I was in my late teens early twenties when the car audio explosion hit here. I had a friend that was just starting a shop and carried the whole unknown HiFonics line and was totally blown away. Now I'm 42 and looking to get back into it. Hello to all!!!

After a few year vacation I'm back. Since then the Explorer and the system are gone and now I have an 06 Altima. In the coming months I'll be trying to do something small like a single 10 or a 12. I miss anything good? haha.

Hey I have to throw Jacob Fuller a huge thankyou for helping to save my arse at SBN. One of the 3000s i have had a leak in the operating smoke pod (and as we all know if the the smoke is allowed to escape from the amp it stops working... if you don't know, that smoke needs to stay on the inside, once it escapes yor amp will no longer work properly) and Jacob found a way to get me another one. Hey, Ryan here I'm terrible at these intro things so I guess I'll jump right in... In my quest to keep weight in my car low, and to use a small-ish box, I'm really striking out for sub choices. I have a PG RSd10 in a .7 (net) sealed box, stuffed liberally. It gets low, but requires a bit of power and it's pretty annoying above 80Hz. I'm bored, so I was considering porting it. It's a 350 RMS sub, single 4, and supposedly 84dB efficient...although I'm betting that's at 2.83V I'm giving it 400 watts currently. WinISD recommends a 1.8 cu ft box (before port and sub displacement)...ummm...no. Not doing that. Most other subs I look at want 3-4 cu ft Definitely not. Here's wh…

Hey everyone just thought i would drop in and give a hello. I am new to the forums but not new to the game. I come from Minnesota so it's hard to find anyone who knows what FI really is. Just last year I bought a 15" Q and threw it in a 3.7 cft3, 32 hz tuned ported box and powered by a Crossfire 1000D @ 1 ohm. Really amazed at the SQ and how it can rape the lows. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and i am also looking for some nice 5.25 components.

Just wanted to say whats up to everyone and see if ne one could give me some advice or just has ne tips for me on my setup. I drive a 98 gmc jimmy with a yellop top battery and a 160 amp alternator. I have 2 voodoo 1600d class amplifiers running to two kove armageddon z 12 inch subs in a square ported box. The box is built to the specs on the kove site for two subs with no divider in the middle of the box and two square ports tuned to what the site called for. I know a lot of people on here know a lot about these subs. What I have heard is that the box for these subs should be bigger than what the site called for.Also if anyone knows where I can get the ohm on my subs cha…
