Hello everyone, I'm new to this Forum. I've been on CA.COM for many years and am finally branching out. I live in SouthWest Indiana, have only one vehicle with a system installed as of right now. I built and installed everything in my 1998 Chevy Venture which has a Pioneer HU and Hifonics amps, Atlas components and Brutus subwoofers installed in it with the BIG 3, 250A HO alternator, RaamMat sound deadening, Optima battery and 1/0 wiring to the amp board. I'm hoping to be upgrading soon to an Eclipse HU, Morel Tempo components, FI Q subs, and Cadence TXA Amps.

Just your basic introduction here, and a question to kick off my time here. My name is Matt, I'm new to this forum but have been a member of several other forums for many years, so I'll try to refrain from making noob-ish mistakes. Ha. Anyway, I currently have an Alpine CDA-9857 in my truck that's going to be replaced by a Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD that's currently in the mail. Also I've got some Polk Audio db6501 Components that are powered by a Rockford Fosgate P400.4, and a brand new 12" Fi Audio SSD powered by a Kenwood KAC-9152D. The Kenwood is getting sold tomorrow morning along with my old Kicker CVX. On the list of things to do is plenty of Raamat BXT, and two new amps…

What's up everyone? Just signed up and looking to get some insight on car audio after being out of the scene for a number of years. I currently have a Toyota FJ Cruiser with a Kenwood DNX8120 HU, Polk Audio SR6500 components, JL Audio co-axials for rear fill, 2-JL 10W3V3's in a Wicked C.A.S. enclosure, Dynamatted fron doors and rear quarters. I am anxiously awaiting the new Zed Leviathan for power.

Hey all. I was doing some research for my new system and found a lot of good info on this site, so decided to join up. I have a 2008 c6 that needs some audio help. Right now it has pioneer Avic z3 and polk components. I just purchased an re audio slim line 10 and us amps ax600de (cant wait to install them). Searching for a us amps for front stage and plan on pulling the polk db speakers and putting in some re xxx components. We will see. Ive been in and out of car audio. During my teenage years I was in to spl and owned the ol school orion hcca amps (loved those). Now, Im getting old and not looking to crack any windows!!

I heard bout ssa from an audio demo at the fire it up car show in peoria. i got a single cab ranger with 3 12" california profile cx 12's powered by a 1000 watt koiiler 2 ch. amp. then a 500 watt insignia 2 ch. for the door speakers. haven't installed the door speakers. lookin forward for the ssa 8" decon's. id put 3 in my truck for sure. well thats bout it. thanks.

Hey everyone. Arthur from Indianapolis here. I am a professional drummer and work as a hired gun for various tours around the world. My most recent tour was a stint with The Blue Man Group and have also played with The Fortunes from Coventry England and others. I got out of car audio for about 15 years and now have dove in again and you guys are spending all of my cash!!!! I have a big Arc audio system but now am in the process of doing the Sundown/ Fi/ Focal/Kinetic/ Alpine system. Amazing what I have learned and relearned on these forums! Thanks, Arthur

been here for a little bit, but just found this topic, so here is my unofficial "first" post! im driving a 2005 suzuki forenza, with stock battery, alt and ground wires (for now) running two rockford fosgate P3s in a ported box. a hifonics 1208D mono amp, with 4 awg wire. i just ordered a refurbished saz1500D from Db-r.com to start my new build. I'm working with Quentin at audible customs to build my box for the fully loaded Fi Bl 15" that will soon be ordered. along with that a Kicker 1/0awg wire kit. hope to get somewhere close to the numbers i have seen this sub push, if i can ever find a meter or a comp. way up here in nowhereville to actually test this stuff

I drive a 96 accord sedan, its basically just a beater until I get out of college in a year and buy something nice. I'm looking to put a new headunit, and a sub in it. Currently it is all stock. So I'm looking for recommendations on a basic headunit (under 200? is that realistic?) that can just play cds and also an ipod. I've been looking at subs and amps also, in particular the FI Q 10 or 12. What amp would you guys recommend with these subs? Been out of the big time car audio loop for a little over 10 years, so I guess I am reliving my childhood again. lol I was fortunate enough to have company cars for the past 10 years and my car audio has been pretty modest. Components in the front doors and an Infinity bass link under the seat was my last set up. Not great, but better than factory full range. Well unfortunately the company car deal is over and now it's time to do things right. Luckily, I still have some Fosgate Power amps in perfect condition I can still use. Scott and Fi, I would just like to say thank you for all your time and help with my 3rd straight IASCA Bass Boxing World Championship. You are a great person Scott and Fi BTL's are the best sub I have ever owned. I will never run another sub. I have had 2 other companys offer me free sponsorships since SBN. I told them no thanks I would rather pay Scott thank run your stuff. My 2nd Championship was won with the old BTL's and my 3rd was won with the new BTL's. Scott call me when you get a chance.
