Hello, I'm new to this forum. Ordered 2 DC level 3 15's this week and I can't wait to receive them. I tried to build a small low power system in my Dodge Ram ( 2 twelves on a Memphis 1000D). but I can't take it any more. I NEED BASS IN MY LIFE! I'm planning on using the DC 2.0 for power ( after the alt and extra battery). I hope to learn from you guys on here. Thanks

Well everyone's title was "Hello", so I decided to do things a little different. Anyway I have a car, it has my second system in it. It is an old maxima and came with a Bose system. I thought it sounded great, until it crapped out and since it had 1-ohm speakers, it meant getting a head unit and new speakers too. That was maybe 2 years ago, so now I'm rolling in my ultra-budget system. It's more of an experiment always in progress. This week I sealed my doors and also got the circuit diagram for and built a PWM LED Dimmer so I can make my ride ultra-sexy for the ladies. lol. hi ssa im eric i have a 01 ford f150 supercab i want to get a 10" fi ssd or a 12" with a ported box not sure yet....i havent measured my back seat yet.... anyone know of some good cheap/reliable amps to power it im going to get flatwind coil and bp on whichever one too..... thanks

Hey guys, new to to the board. Much like a lot of other noobs around here I'm joining to learn as much as I can about mobile audio. I've always loved car audio, and known most of the good dependable brands, but I've never quite learned how it all works. Unlike most guys here I dont have the knowledge to even attempt installing a full system by myself. But thats why I'm here, cuz I love all this stuff and really want to learn. I drive a 99 ram 1500 which has had five different audio setups, I am currently working on my biggest build yet consisting of a center console build housing two FI Q10 d2 with everything but high QTS, Front stage is Image Dynamics 6.5" component, and rears are Image dynamics 5" coaxial all with .5 mdf baffles. Headunit is a new alpine cde with the tuneit option, amps are going to be a soundstream reference 4.760 for front and rear stage, and the subs will be powered by strapped soundstream rubicon 1.1600d ported using a 4" dimpled precision port. The electrical will consist of two XS D3400 with two runs of excellence …

hi everyone im sort of new to this so still learning have a couple projects going on but my main one is having 3 skar vvx 8s in a 2000 integra. still havent got around to getting it installed as im still buying the components and still need to build a box. the 2nd project I got is small and simple just putting a single 12" dcon on my dads piece of shyt saturn lol this is the one im working on now and going to put it on my car meanwhile i get the other stuff going long story on why im doing this in this order but yea dont want to explain why. lol i guess thats it for now and talk to you guys around the forum.

Just signed up for the forum so I figured I'd introduce myself. My name is Shaun and I compete in DB Drag in StreetMax 1-2. I have a 93 Caravan with two T3 Audio TSNS 18s, but I am currently looking for new amps. I am an installer and have been doing so for about 12 years now. I am now new to these forums and I hope to learn more about car audio by being a member here. It also seems that there is a great deal of people here with much knowledge about the topic unlike other forums. I was referred to SoundSplinter by a friend who swore they were the best LSQ drivers. I will soon find out when I install them in my boy's car. I got into the car audio scene a year ago and have loved it ever since. As soon as I get my new amp I am planning on going to SPL drag's in the Beginner SPL Class and work my way up. Anyways, I am done with my introduction. -Airmack
