Hey, Im new here. Im a Business Major at UNF in Jacksonville. Im pretty inexperienced with car audio but always looking to learn more. I joined because im interested in getting some FI Audio subs. When you click the forum link on there sites it leads to SSA so i figured it would be the best place to get some info.

Just wanted to say what's up. Im currently driving a 06 gmc envoy. So far audio wise I have a Jensen flip out (came with the truck....hate it) sub is a 10" ssa gcon in a custom fiberglass box built by me and the sub is powered by a ppi black ice 1300.1 door speakers are factory. Nothing to exciting. Im also working on my wife's xterra which is/will get a full audio revamp.... in the process of building a fiberglass enclosure for two 12" aq sdc2.5 for the sub stage powered by a mb quart onyx 1500.1 and the front doors will get 6.5" cadence comp and rear will get a set of cadence coax powered by a mb quart onyx 80.4...... nothing to crazy either....be more show than anythi…

Hello from louisiana. I have been lurking here for a few weeks after being introduced to the forum by a friend. I doubt he is a member, he lurks alot. The main reason I am here is because of Sundowns SA-8, it seems to be an extremely impressive woofer and 8s have been my preference for woofers as long as I can remember. I have read most of the stickys you guys have posted and learned quite a bit from it, and I really like the way this forum is laid out. This seems to be the best audio forum I have seen and I would like to thank you guys for the effort put into making it what it is. Hows every doing! My names Kyle I live in clarkston MI and just got my 2 12" Zcons finally installed. This is in a 2002 z28 Camaro haha yes I've seen Steve's walled off maro but I could never do that to my car. Anyway I'm usuing a soundstream xxx6500d for the subs now and they slam! There in a crappy box to that rests on my folded down back seats. Working on a box for my Ttop well box is actually a t line tuned to 36hz. Blows away a lot of my friends systems besides my buddy Dan who has 6 18" icons in a 4th order hahahaha anyway enough of my talking I'll post some quick pics

Hey all, I purchased a Sundown Audio Nightshade V1 12 yesterday, and I can only say one word: Wow... I have it hooked to a Rockford Fosgate P8004 amp currently because that's all I could find on the fly, and it 'tickles' the driver. I'm incredibly impressed by the sub, and being that I only paid 150 for it, in good aesthetic condition, and perfect functioning condition, I couldn't be happier. I need an amp to actually push it, but right now I'm trying to test fit the setup in my Daily driver and see how it performs in it, before it goes in my show car. member on **** and SMD thought id come over here and see how people are over here. history to current system. first system was 2 12 MTX thunder 4000s on a TIS T510pk 5 channel. was in a Small prefab. then built a 5.5 cuf tuned to 32hz. was in a 96 s10 blazer Then I bought a 99 Pontiac grand prix GT 4dr. bought 2 SQ HDS212s and a Q1200 for it. Traded the hds212s for a sa8v2. but bought a Incriminator LI12 first to put in the HDS212s place. Traded the 96 blazer for a 94 grand prix 2dr. Put the sa8 in there and its running on a friends Kicker 250.1 wired at 4ohm so its not even seeing 200rms lol. now im trying to sell the LI to buy a X10 and upgrade to 1/0 a…

Hello everyone! glad to be here im 33 used to get in alot of trouble changed my life around 3 years ago.. just got my licence back after 8 years and just got back into car audio.. i love this stuff!! keeps me busy and my mind of things.. i wasted alot of money in the best months on cheap ishhh.. im starting a new system now,.. in october my new subs will come so i have a few months to get things ready! i just got two new sundownsa 10's 2 months ago but thats not enough.. lol so im in the process of selling my current setup to start fresh.. so we will see where this new setup will take me!! thanks guys!
