Newbie Sign IN

I am back as I had originally bought a Sundown 100.4 on the very first run for my RSX which I had hooked up to DLS components. I really thought I had made an account here back then. Well I then, sold the RSX. I then put an Audison amp, focal components and focal subs in my next car, a 1995 Porsche 993. That car was stolen over the summer. So now I am back to looking at putting some left over parts that I hadn't sold into my current S2000. Now to look through some builds to see the cool stuff people are currently building.

Well first off let me say I have been fllowing this forum for about 2 months now and I love it. I have to say that I was in such a rush for info that I never look in this section or paid attention to having to post in here for your first 2 post. Anyways my name is Kenneth. Hi all. Another new guy here. Been lurking for a while and finally decided to introduce myself. I'm Dan from east central Kansas. I was into car audio in high school and for a few years after, but got out of it about 5 years ago. Somehow I came across ***** *****'s videos on Youtube and got bit by the bug once again. Looking to build a small system for a 2000 Dodge Dakota Ext. Cab since I've only got one payment left on it (yes!). Hello. Found this place while doing research on my first sound quality type build. Lots of great info and ideas here. Always loved car audio, just finally got to the point in my mid 30's to want something that actually sounds nice rather than just goes loud and rattles your head lol. i got 2 pairs of infinity kappa 6.5" components hooked up to a mtx x704, and i will have 2 12" fi Q's hooked up to a hifonics 2010D (the subs will be here tomorrow). i will be building a box and was wondering what some of you have done with your Q's. and since this sub is for sq, wouldnt a sealed enclosure be the most appropriate?

What’s everyone’s experiences? Had numerous small systems but always in older cars. Seen a few posts online from random people and responses are over the place. Some are like its voids all electrical, or just the audio on the car, or the audio and if the dealer says it affected another circuit or system. Just wanting experienced audio enthusiast opinions/ experiences. It’s a 2017 Camry. Wanting to either transfer my existing stuff in( 2 JL12wo in a slot ported wedge box, jl 500.1 and the big3) or upgrade to something bigger. Pair of sa12’s on a 1500.1. Thanks for any info, it’s my first car with a warranty, lol
