My current project is a 2007 Tahoe; very stealth. I'm in the planning stages at present. I plan on utilizing the factory changer, and keeping the steering wheel controls and XM along with OnStar. So thats the plan. Now for the selection of equipment and execution of the install. I do have an EQL Audio Control in house so I guess you could say I've started <G>. Hey everyone I'm from Naperville, IL and I'm 18. I'm still learning when it comes to car audio and I'm hoping to learn some more from here. Right now my setup is 2 12" Kicker CVRs pushed by a zx750.1. Yeah, not the best set up at all but I'm looking to upgrade as soon as I get a new car which should be in the next month or 2. I'm pretty much set on a 15" Icon or 15" Q. Basically just looking for something louder and better sounding than my CVRs. Anyways, glad to be here.

After a few year vacation I'm back. Since then the Explorer and the system are gone and now I have an 06 Altima. In the coming months I'll be trying to do something small like a single 10 or a 12. I miss anything good? haha.

Hey, Ryan here I'm terrible at these intro things so I guess I'll jump right in... In my quest to keep weight in my car low, and to use a small-ish box, I'm really striking out for sub choices. I have a PG RSd10 in a .7 (net) sealed box, stuffed liberally. It gets low, but requires a bit of power and it's pretty annoying above 80Hz. I'm bored, so I was considering porting it. It's a 350 RMS sub, single 4, and supposedly 84dB efficient...although I'm betting that's at 2.83V I'm giving it 400 watts currently. WinISD recommends a 1.8 cu ft box (before port and sub displacement)...ummm...no. Not doing that. Most other subs I look at want 3-4 cu ft Definitely not. Here's wh…

Hey everyone just thought i would drop in and give a hello. I am new to the forums but not new to the game. I come from Minnesota so it's hard to find anyone who knows what FI really is. Just last year I bought a 15" Q and threw it in a 3.7 cft3, 32 hz tuned ported box and powered by a Crossfire 1000D @ 1 ohm. Really amazed at the SQ and how it can rape the lows. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and i am also looking for some nice 5.25 components.

Hey guys just wanted to check in and let everyone know a little about me/my car i live in South GA, in Valdosta. Originally from Palm Beach FL. Been into car audio awhile, but just recently(6months-1year ago) got into it real seriously. I have a 69 Firebird and a 95 Caprice. I've been out of car audio for 15 years now and am just starting to get back in. Can't wait to get some good info from people who actually know something about car audio. It's a refreshing change from customer reviews and other forum posts like "I got 4 12"s that slam so hard my girlfriend went into labor!"
