built many enclosures blown a few drivers now im at it again. Just bought a RE SL 10. never owned a RE product. Should be interesting

i got 2 pairs of infinity kappa 6.5" components hooked up to a mtx x704, and i will have 2 12" fi Q's hooked up to a hifonics 2010D (the subs will be here tomorrow). i will be building a box and was wondering what some of you have done with your Q's. and since this sub is for sq, wouldnt a sealed enclosure be the most appropriate?

Nice forum.. Read a few threads.. Cant wait to know everyone! I'm also needing advise on a sound system for my 93' nissan D21 pickup ext cab. I was reccomended RE SE 12 jus 1 with a hifonics amp 1000w.. Id like to have 2 with amp to make em bump but I dont know anything about the enclosure what to get I need something to at least fit the back of my truck. My budget is really doesnt matter with tax returns coming in so lets say 600-800

Hey, I recently heard that sundown was based in NC and I wanted to see what it was all about. I am in Shelby, about an hour from Charlotte and 30 minutes from Gastonia if that gives you any hints. I have a 1993 Nissan 240SX that gets louds with even minimal wattage. I lost my job so right now I'm running a Pioneer 12" with a Kicker 120.2 on the way. Hopefully I'll get my job back in around a month and will have more money to spend, I'd like to support Sundown since it's here in NC. Brandon

Hi guys. My name is Itamar, 25 from Israel. I'm at the car audio madness for something like 4 years, and in that short priod I used and replaced many stuff including Genesis amps, ZED amps, Rockford Amps, Pioneer P9 combo, Morel Tempo / Hybrid / Elate / Suprimo, Vifa woofers, Scan speak revelator sub, Hybrid audio Clarus, and much more The amps I loved the most were ZED amps, they are just great. I used "The Deuce" for amplifying 3 Way Morel Elate and sold it beacuse it was to big and heavy. for now i'm using the the ESX (Zed made) Quantom 60.4, until the new amps from Zed will show up My recent HU is the P880PRS, which gonna be replaced soon to Eclipse 7200MKII Thats…

I ordered a Fi Q 12" like 9 mos ago and im finally getting around to installing it. I got my box done finally. http://s281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/w...si/King%20Kong/ But my question is I forgot if I got the 1 ohm or 2 ohm speaker. I tried emailing Fi and get no response. I dont see anything on the speaker showing me anything and I need to know how to wire it to my SAE-1000D Can anyone help? Thanks, Brian

Hi , Well I'm from The Netherlands , Car-Audio is a hobby of mine for over 10 years now , specifically the low end gets al lot of attention and I've made MANY sub enclosures . Just figured id introduce myself. Im John. Im 17 years old. I have a 2003 civic si. I have a bunch of stuff done to it but my audio upgrades right now are a Jensen VM9512, infinity kappa 6 1/2s, Kicker 15" L708 and a 1200watt rms hifonics amp. Im upgrading to a pioneer F90BT this weekend and a 12" Fi BL soon. I will post pics. Just figured id introduce myself. Anyone else on here from jersey?

Hello all... I cant believe I never found this forum. I have been trolling forums lol :-D for at least 10 years now and this is the first time Ive seen this place. Well here car audio background. I use to roll in a 1997 F-150 with a Pioneer Premier 860 wired to a Arc Audio 400.4 with Kove 5.25 Components in the front with kove's upgraded crossovers and 1" tweets. In the rear I had basic 2 way coxials from hart audio. On to the top dog of the system... lol. The Sub was a Kove Armageddon Zm 15" in a custom 2cuFt enclosure behind the drivers seat. I've been into car audio for a year and a half and i have alot of people fooled with what i do know for being into it for such a short period of time. for starters i drive a 2000 oldsmobile alero. for a deck i have a Pioneer Premier DEX-P1R, Some VR3's in the back deck... (you'll know why i went so cheap in a minute....). and a Memphis EQ50 in the dash. for the bass i have a 15" Pioneer Premier TS-W8102SPL in a crappy 2.75 cu.ft' box, (my 12th box but first 15") i redid the calculations and it's about 67 hz. lol. but regardless with the box falling apart and the car built the day before comp i hit a 139.1 at the dash (termpro) i've since built a new box thats 1.5" MDF …

whats up guys, i found this site from a google search for fi subs.. I'm looking for the best boom for my truck. I drive a 2002 GMC sierra single cab. I have an alpine 9813 head unit, MB Quart component speakers in the doors n b pillar and a 500 watt Orion amp. I had two 12 inch PBX subs in a sealed box powered by a sony Xplod 1000 watt amp. it bumped pretty nice but I didn't like that it couldn't really be heard outside of the truck so i sold it.. I listen to rap about 95% of the time so I like earth shaking bass that knocks pictures off the wall if I'm outside your house. I don't want to cut into the bed though..
