Hello everyone, names Ray, I know how to use a search button (lol). I've been creeping around SSA for sometime, figured it'd be a nice time to sign up!

I'm new to this particular forum, I've been on caraudio.com and diyma for a while now, and I figured I may as well register here too! I drive a '96 S10 Blazer, and all I have in my vehicle now is two True Bass Solutions Ultra 8" subs in a 1.75 ft^3 enclosure tuned to 33 hz, and a Sundown SAE-1000D amplifier. I have an old school Zed-made US Acoustics USA-2075 2-channel and an old school Eclipse 3241 4-channel waiting to be used in a 3-way active setup, but I am undecided on the drivers I will use, so if you have any suggestions as to what 8" midbass, midrange, or tweeter are good, feel free to post them here or PM me. Hey guys, not much of a computer person but I read a lot of threads here when I need info, so I figured it was time to join. I Hail from Madison, WI but moved to sw Kansas a couple years ago for work as an airplane mechanic. Car audio is a weekend hobby for me so my knowledge is fairly limited. Working on a sealed trunk build for my two Fi BL's as we speak. Have a few questions about amp/ headunit settings and adjustments so will be posting in the near future. Hello, i'm from las vegas and new to this forum. i'm fairly new to the whole car stereo stuff. by fairly i've not really got all the way in untill i got my SSA ICONs. i had a pair of Audiobahn AW 1251T. with a BOSS PD4000w amp, it didnt sound bad. i'm still surprised that i got that much sound of of them, Sold them then i UPGRADED to a pair of Fi's. not sure what kind i had but then i got a pair of SSA ICONs. at first i used a single Pheniox Gold Ryval 1000watt amp. it was clean. but then i decided to go with 2 of those amps bridged to get max power. so right now i'm sitting on a sealed box with 2 SSA ICON 12's powered by 2 Phoenix Gold v1502. and all this is sitting in …

Hey all, Name's Alex. I have read alot of threads through this forum and finally decided to sign up. I am new to car audio in general but am learning. I plan on going to college for a degree in mechanical engineering and going into a profession in acoustical engineering. Hi all, greetings from La Selva Beach CA! I have been into high end audio since my teens which was quite some time ago lol. I just purchased a Lexus GS 300 with the most God awful audio system imaginable so I am putting together a new system. I have chosen an Alpine CDE-175BT head unit, an old school A/D/S PQ 10 four channel amp, a pair of NOS A/D/S 300is panel speakers for the rear deck and a pair of 6.5 in JBL GTO 629 speakers for the front doors. I have not had anything installed yet and I am in the processs of locating a competent installer to do the work as the rear deck speakers will be a custom install due to there being no prior speakers ever installed there.
