Greetings, I am Joe, aka OnYrMrk and I have been competing off and on for about 20 years. I have competed in Thunder On Wheels, IASCA, Car Audio Nationals, USACi. I am a USACi SQ Judge and started off the 2006 season with a sponsorship from Focal. Love the product, love Orca Distributing, but left because they wanted me to sell my Audison amps and run STEG or Focal. I am on a limited budget so I reluctantly left Focal without burning a bridge. If you get to work with them, Nick Wingate is a fantastic ear to tune your car. I have now created Team Non-Conformist we are small, we don't carry any sponsorships, we paid for our own equipment, and we compete I look forwar…

  5. Hey guys, I just signed on to the forum. I'm relatively new to the world of car audio. I own a '95 GMC Jimmy and have plenty of room in the back. But I'm going to college soon so I don' exactly have a lot of cash to spend on audio equipment. Luckily I found out about Sundown Audio on another forum I frequent. I hope to get one or two of the new SA-8 subs when they come out next month, or maybe on or two of the old E-8s. I'm also enrolled in a woods class at my high school so I was gonna make a few sub boxes as projects in that class. If anyone has any tips on building a vented box please PM me.

Hey guys I'm Leon username LSpindenIII Have been here a few times but just now signing up. I am in the South Eastern area of Minnesota I have a 97 Chevy Cavalier that I am still working on. Current setup is a Elemental Designs 13AV.2 off a Hifonics Brutus BXi2006D. I also have a 96 Pontiac Sunfire GT. It is going to be my track car mainly. Currently is all stock except it's fully gutted and added an intake. Future plans is getting another 2.4 and tranny, doing a motor build with all forged internals, port and polished head, oversized valves, secret cams, then slapping on a supercharger and water/meth injection.

Hey guys and gals. Just signed up so here is my official introduction. My names Mike, I'm a 36 year old family man and have been into audio since the late 80's. I got sucked into it by my much older brother who was an installer back in the 80's and early 90's and had a love for it way before I could drive. I got out of it all together for several years when I started a family and then dove back in a couple years a go when I started building up my 06 Sierra to go to shows. Looking forward to being part of your community here.

Coff.. *Boss Audio, BV9985* Coff in my '93 Honda Civic EX, as well as 2 of these 6x9" speakers & amp.. TheLoudest.com's 350w rms / 2000w peak 6x9"s TheLoudest.com 3000w (peak) 2-channel monoblock amp Now I want to install my two 12" Boston Acoustics G512-44 subs but am not sure which amp to get.. at all! There's so many good options! I found these 2 subs for $400 shipped from Crutchfield! Here are 3 pics of my ugly ricer so you know what I'm working with lol.

Whats up guys, I am a member on my.is and someone recommended a SoundSplinter sub, went to their website, and found my way over here.. Great forum you have here.. Just can't decide if I want 1 10", 2 10", or 1 12" lol.. Just want clean bass since I listen to all sorts of music (rock/rap/sometimes even country) but I don't want king kong in my trunk.. 1 10" RL-i sufficient for my needs you think? With a sundown sax100.2 or a sae1000d if I go with 2 tens or a 12? Thanks in advance, Gary

I'm new to your forum. Been on caraudio.com for a real long time with plenty of refs on there and on ebay. I also run a pair for 2 12" SSA Icons in a custom built box by BJ Fisher right now. But in all reality I'm trying to sell them.

  22. Hello everyone. I was browsing this forum and it looks like the people here are more mature than other forums.......you know which one... anyways, I have a sundown saz1500d v1 and an american bass VFL extreme 15" All stock wiring and stock battery and I have 4awg about 4 feet to the battery which is located in the trunk. The sub slams pretty hard, but I notice a wierd burning rubber smell when I play it loud (not normal car rubber. It's more toxic, if that makes sense. A guy from CL said that I'm probably clipping the sub since I have all stock wiring. Would a second battery do the trick? Any help appreciated. Car is a 2010 HHR LT

  23. Hi I'm frasierraheen, I use to come on these forum use to look at build logs to step my game up. I 've been doing the car audio thing since 96 when I was like 13. I learn about car audio in the kuntry where we used extension cords for power wires and house stereos for subs. I know that crazy, but I got out that. I 'm in the army so I’m all over the place so my location may change a bit so don't write me off as a scamer. My ride is a 91 accord wagon 5-spd, with a h23 blue top vtec. My music was 2 Ma audio hard core hk-4000ds, 4 kinetic 2600, 2 massive audio 400.4, 2 audiobahns component sets , 4 soundstream 6x9's, 100 ft Fatmat, pioneer premier 760 , and 1 Atomic AP…
