New to the forums and back into researching car audio. Happy Black Friday everyone hope y'all save some good money, I know I did. Just purchased a loaded Fi Q 12. Had to start researching about subs again because my old sub finally died. Was an Audiobahn AWT12X tuned to 30hz. Bought in 2001, finally died in 2011 earlier this year. Bought a few subs after that but just wasn't happy with any of them the way I was with the AWT12X, it was a monster sub that lasted a looooooong time and definitely got my $'s worth. Hi all. Another new guy here. Been lurking for a while and finally decided to introduce myself. I'm Dan from east central Kansas. I was into car audio in high school and for a few years after, but got out of it about 5 years ago. Somehow I came across ***** *****'s videos on Youtube and got bit by the bug once again. Looking to build a small system for a 2000 Dodge Dakota Ext. Cab since I've only got one payment left on it (yes!). Very intrigued by the non-mainstream brands that have come out since I've been out of the scene and I'm having a hell of a time deciding what to get. That's about it. I'm a pretty boring person. Dan

Hey guys hows it going? Im in the process of building my system. I have a 18"BTL fully loaded and a Kicker kx2500.1, lots of 1/0 wire, 2 optimas and some other goodies. This is all going in the back of my ext cab chevy bagged on 22's. The box is going to be 7.2 cubic feet tuned to 31 hz...Ill get some pics up as soon as i get the sub and amp (in the process of being shipped) and some pics of the box build. I found this site while researching the effects of impedance rise. I am working on building a system and trying to learn at the same time. I am buying a HDC3 15, my box is 4.5 cubes tuned to 38 hertz, kerfed port with 74.25 inches of port. I have a Hifonics 2010D amp 1/0 gage wire (double runs). Still have a ways to go, but like i said trying to learn.

I forgot to do this, and started spewing my opinions all over the place. But I was confused because the sticky said "dont go around announcing your a newb" which I'm kinda doing right now. Hopefully some of you recognize the name though, I post all over the place. I also hope people realize I'm not a newb in the way that I might not know what I'm saying or talking about (should be apparent with what I say) but I'm just new here.
