Hey, just popping in here. Been in the hobby for 3 decades now, usually I'm on CAF and occasionally I pop into DIYMA. I'm looking for input on the new SSA tweeters and I bet this would be a good place to start.

Hi from West Palm Beach, FL. I'm new to SSA forums. I was this site at Steve Meade Designs while I was reading up on Fi Car Audio in his forums. I haven't had a system in a while and I'm starting to get that itch to build one so I've been doing a lot of reading. My how things have changed. I have already asked some questions and I have received some very good feedback from the users here. I have lots to learn and this seems like the perfect place for me to do that. I have a 97 Maxima SE that I'm sizing up for a SQ install. We'll see how it goes !!! Thanks for the help already !!!

Hello everyone! glad to be here im 33 used to get in alot of trouble changed my life around 3 years ago.. just got my licence back after 8 years and just got back into car audio.. i love this stuff!! keeps me busy and my mind of things.. i wasted alot of money in the best months on cheap ishhh.. im starting a new system now,.. in october my new subs will come so i have a few months to get things ready! i just got two new sundownsa 10's 2 months ago but thats not enough.. lol so im in the process of selling my current setup to start fresh.. so we will see where this new setup will take me!! thanks guys!

Hello Everyone New guy to the forum stopping by to introduce myself. I am going to order 8 sundown E8's to put in my 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo. I dont know what amp yet but when I get to that point I will be posting pics to show off my work or lack or work whichever is the case at the moment.

Hey I have to throw Jacob Fuller a huge thankyou for helping to save my arse at SBN. One of the 3000s i have had a leak in the operating smoke pod (and as we all know if the the smoke is allowed to escape from the amp it stops working... if you don't know, that smoke needs to stay on the inside, once it escapes yor amp will no longer work properly) and Jacob found a way to get me another one. This thread is really bringing to light all of those behind the scenes... not just Jacob or the owners but anyone who has gone out of their way to make their customers' experience a good one. I came to this site because I am looking for a set of 12"s. Digital Designs 9512s Cascade Omegas Audio Pulse Axis FI BTLs I would also be interested in any other subs that you all think would handle between 2000 - 2500rms a piece. They need to be either D1s or D4s so I can wire them to 1 ohm to run off my Z1A. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and I look forward to meeting everyone!

Shout out to Gary [banginALTIMA], Jacob, Paul [12-12's in Cherokee], and my homie Rowshard who introduced me to Fi Audio. Fi is on another level as far as sound quality and sound pressure go. I've heard all kind of subs - Kicker, Memphis Audio, JL Audio, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, Pioneer, MTX... and to be honest, those are good subs, but Fi, RE, SSA, and Sundown subs are...well you have to hear and FEEL them to really get an impression of them. Hey SSA! I've been searching around for a good car audio forum for a while and I think I just found it! I'm new to the car audio world. I've been doing A LOT of research for about 2 months so I'm not completely ignorant on the topic. I live in Guatemala City and here there are not a lot of "experts" in car audio so I have resorted to sites like these to learn. I'm a new member of the site, but I've been trolling for quite a while. I have a system in the works consisting of two True bass solutions 8" subs (when they arrive) and a sundown SAE-1000D. I've got about 150-200 bucks for some good 6.5" comps so if you've got any suggestions, post them up!

just sayin whats up to everyone. im starting my first actual build, nothing special but its gonna be better than last time. a couple years ago i had an eclipse amp ( i think like 300 watts?) and two 12" kicker free airs, ported in a 03 tiburon. it got loud but never hit low... i could get like the first 2 notes in "put on" by jeezy and kanye but nothin after that lol, im sure the amp wasnt fit for it at all but it totaled 50 for the amp and kickers in the prefab box and like 60 for the wiring. it got the job done for the price i guess, it was ok. but i sold the tib, have the kickers in my garage but i just dont even want them. havent got around to attempting a sale to any…
