New to the forums and back into researching car audio. Happy Black Friday everyone hope y'all save some good money, I know I did. Just purchased a loaded Fi Q 12. Had to start researching about subs again because my old sub finally died. Was an Audiobahn AWT12X tuned to 30hz. Bought in 2001, finally died in 2011 earlier this year. Bought a few subs after that but just wasn't happy with any of them the way I was with the AWT12X, it was a monster sub that lasted a looooooong time and definitely got my $'s worth. i have 1 15 inch ascendant audio havoc....it dosent have much play on it.the basket is broke on it and it seems to be over heating.i hit a 143.1 on a term lab though ,even broke..the question is ....a friend of mine just offer me 300$ cash for it even though it is broke.if i do sell 300$ is all i have to spend on a new sub....should i sell...recone and get the basket fixed?if i do sell i was looking at a ssa icon 18 or 15 ....same rms but will it be just as loud or louder......any suggestions for subs ....they are going into a trunk of a grand prix....just scared that its going to pop due to the basket being broke and it over heating.

I'm new to this forum and thought I would introduce myself. I just got my skar audio VVX 8 and it's nice. i plan on running 3 VVX 8's @2 ohms on 1000 RMS. tuned to 33 Htz. i plan on having this build done within the next few months. im on realmofexcurtion aswell

Hello everyone, I'm new to this Forum. I've been on CA.COM for many years and am finally branching out. I live in SouthWest Indiana, have only one vehicle with a system installed as of right now. I built and installed everything in my 1998 Chevy Venture which has a Pioneer HU and Hifonics amps, Atlas components and Brutus subwoofers installed in it with the BIG 3, 250A HO alternator, RaamMat sound deadening, Optima battery and 1/0 wiring to the amp board. I'm hoping to be upgrading soon to an Eclipse HU, Morel Tempo components, FI Q subs, and Cadence TXA Amps.

I found this through a post on some other forum. I'm just glad I'm not the only guy that can see the potential for limitless power one piece at a time.

Hello all, I recently joined the from after purchasing a SoundSplinter RL-i 10. My current system consists of: Eclipse 5423 HU CDT CL-62i/24 Comp set in front doors Orion XTR 375 SoundSplinter RL-i 10" Cadence Z1000 This is installed in my Dodge Ram 1500. It sounds excellent and wasn't too hard on the pocket boock either!
