Just wanted to say hello! new forum member from Sacramento, Ca! This forum has a lot of useful info, so i decided to become a member!

Hello, my name is Thomas and i am going to school at Oklahoma University. I am currently living in norman and am about to be a second year sophomore in the engineering department lol. My name is Daniel and I'm new to car audio (the real car audio). I became interested in FI audio last night after doing a little research, and I have decided that my 1st car audio system is going to include 2x Q15s. (I was thinking about getting 2x 15" MTX Thunder 9500s, till I heard of a certain brand that makes custom made, strong, reliable subs for cheap prices) I have lots of questions and it looks like most -or all- of you on the forum know what you're talking about (cause I don't =S)

alright ive been pondering whether 2 get 2 15" re audio sx's or 2 15" fi bl's and im not sure which and would appreciate it if yall would help me with the decision. i no if i get the 2 fi's itll be a lil bit cheaper but i dont no which is gonna be more sq and which is gonna be louder for a daily setup thatll also get metered. the systems gonna be in a gmc sonoma ext. cab

I could say hay but NJ isn't exactly farm country, except the southern part but we don't consider that NJ anyways I can't believe I was a member for almost a year and never posted here....

Hi there, I am 17 and do know some about car audio, as I do mod cars. I currently owna 2000 cavalier. I have had 2 systems, and just not yet satisfied with either of them. I am looking for a subwoofer than can handle my Lanzar Vibe 1000 Watt Max amp. I was looking at a FI BL, but i am afraid of clipping. What about a JLW6, they are 400 RMS, right? so i risk blowing it with too much power. What do you recommend me for awesome bass, that i will be satisfied with, without breaking the bank. Thanks!
