Hello everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Alaska, been here for a year. I drive a nissan titan and am currently running a sundown e10v2 off a PPI BK1800.1D(I know overkill. lol) and sky high audio wiring. I plan to upgrade to an SSA Xcon 12" here very soon. Can't wait to learn from the SSA forum members.

Hello, Just picked up an FI BL 10" from a local classified w/ a kenwood 800w amp(probably not gonna use) for $120!!! Kid said it was an SSD but upon removal and further inspection it is a BL, D2 config. I just printed the cut sheet for a new box and am currently in search of a new amp. I wired up my Memphis MC500.1 and that BL just laughed and barely moved @ 1ohm. I never should have sold my 1k!!!! Oh well!

Hey whats up guys I just registered a few days ago but I finally decided to make my first post. Well I'm 16 years old and I drive a 04 Chevy Trailblazer. I dont have much done to it at all. So far this is my current setup: Headunit: Pioneer DEH-P980BT Speakers: some ok Pioneer 6.5's my cousin gave to me for free. They aren't that great but they sound way better than my stock ones anyway. I'm saving up for a better front stage though. I decided to post my follow up thougts in a seperate thread about the Icon 12 I have now. Initially I had decided to install the sub in my commuter car and old honda accord. I have always had response issues with this car with some cancellation in the 60-80hz range. Being unhappy with how the icon sounded in this car I decided to go a different route. I decided to put a system in my Ram3500 truck. I bought a set of Alpine type r 6.5 components an Arc audio xdi 450 amp and used a pioneer double din that I already had. I have 4 6.5 mids in the truck 1 in each door and ran the amp to create a 3 way setup with the front channels of the Arc amp running the tweeters and …

Finally signed up! Been lurking for awhile doing research for my next system. Currently stationed at Ft Huachuca for the army. Will be getting out early October and then returning home to PA. Still searching for the next vehicle but will have that squared away before getting home. This will be my second system. Last system was in a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Some of you might already know me from Youtube, for those who don't I "Bass-out" cutting-edge bass music for a bunch of the basshead peeps. I don't have a vehicle or nothing, but I do have a custom system in my room that puts some car systems down hard lol. My system consist of 4 12" mids, 6 5" mids, 4 2" silk dome tweets. My dads sending me a new Fi BL15 in a month or so and he's leaving it up to me to find an amp to match its 1000w rms. It has the dual 2-ohm coil option also. I'm trying to find a decent amp that will push it for under $200, i know its a stretch, but if anybody can help me out I'd appreciate it.

What up guy's! So, I need some tuning help/opinions. Vehicle is a 1996 jeep grand cherokee. I have a pair of evil 6.5's, and a pair of evil 1 tweets running off a nvx jad 800.4. Also, have a dayton dsp408. Midbass is mounted in stock location in the doors. Doors are deadened and sealed of as best as I could. Haven't fully installed tweeters yet, but they are wired up. Stock location for tweeters are in the dash. Is this a bad spot for the evils, or is there maybe somewhere better for them? Also, was wondering if anyone had crossover suggestions for the evil mids and tweets. I'm really not sure what steps I need to take as far as the tuning goes. Any opinions are welcome. …

Hello all, New to the forums! My name is chris, I'm from Racine, WI. Awaiting my first FI BL 15 since August 22. I'm getting excited approaching the one month mark. I designed a 5 cuft3 all kerfed ported enclosure and have a hifonics x14 1500.1d "wanted to test this new series" amp 1/0 gauge wire ran to the back and big three upgrade. Gauge dragon volt meter.
