Hey, a friend recommended me to these forums because I'm trying to buy a new sub. I've been searching around for a couple weeks and finally decided to actually register.

Hey, I'm new here not to 12 volt electronics. I worked for ten years in the industry way back when I was 18-28. I worked for a few shops installing then eventually sales and then wholesale sales. I put a few point driven db drag shows back when it was called "USAC", Anyway I have decided to compete in spl again using fi subs. I had a couple of competition car's from the 90's, a buick regal with 12-12"s hifonics warrior's and two son of colossus amps(ZED Audio) and did a wopping 148 lol. I had a 93 probe with 8-12" Ground zero nuclear on 4 rockford punch 800's that did 149. I couldnt seem to break the 150 barrier as all those boxes were sealed as well and I think definitel…

New to the site from Oregon. Recently bought a work car, It had an amp (infinty reference) and subs(12" alpines) in it already. I had no idea bass could be so much fun . As a 45 yr old late bloomer I'm hoping to learn a litte to feed my latest obsession.

Hello all. Just checking in. I'm one of stratusrt01's buddies. Came over from ROE. My current setup is.... nada! Have a brand new Tiburon that myself and stratusrt01 will be filling with goodies when I get back from my deployment. Blank slate, deployment money, car is a hatch, possibilities are endless! well i am new to ssa... coming from roe... i went to a comp in tuscon where i met ssaudio... and he told me to check out the form so here i am.... my current setup 1 15cvr.. 4.5cubes tunned to 32hrz audiobahn 8000t .. got it for 45 bucks lol cant complain.. stockdeck and comps for now 131.6db tl 06 malibu ltz futer setup.. 2 ssa 12s tunned to 32 kicker zx2500 big three extra batt new comps off amp not sure what yet oh an im sixteen for any one who cares...

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and new to car audio. I recently purchased a 100.2 amp and 10"sub from Jacob at Sundown, I guess this is my first real amp and sub, before that I had a 200 watt bazooka tube hooked up to a Kole 2 channel amp. It was ok I guess for my hatchback. I like music and listen to almost everything, lately I been listening to allot of Latin Jazz but I also love to listen to instrumental metal rock, and I really like music that mixes up a little bit of everything in like highs for the speakers and lows for my sub. So I guess thats it for now. just a little bit about my self. thanks for reading.

I thought it sounded great, until it crapped out and since it had 1-ohm speakers, it meant getting a head unit and new speakers too. That was maybe 2 years ago, so now I'm rolling in my ultra-budget system. It's more of an experiment always in progress. New here. Drive an Eddie Bauer Explorer. I ordered the 12" Icon and Sundown 1000 combo on Monday. Can't wait to get it in. It said 3 day ground so I guess Ill get it tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Didnt get a tracking number so not quite sure. Im not worried about it though. Im assuming that ICON12D2 means Icon 12" dual 2 ohm so I can run it at 1ohm right? Couldnt imagine them selling the 1 ohm DVC with the amp. Anyways, thanks for the forum and the products. I'll be sure to make a build log when I order my wire and start on the box.

whats up guys.. about to purchase 2 Soundsplinter RL-i 10"s and an alpine 1.1000 amp, good combo or should I go with a different amp? Been browsing on here for awhile figured I should make a login.. I am going for a SQ setup, should I change subs as well or will the SS 10"s suit my needs? I listen to about 75% rock, 25% rap.. I prefer SQ, but when I want them to thump, I want them to be able to glad to be aboard!
