Well everyone's title was "Hello", so I decided to do things a little different. Anyway I have a car, it has my second system in it. It is an old maxima and came with a Bose system. I thought it sounded great, until it crapped out and since it had 1-ohm speakers, it meant getting a head unit and new speakers too. That was maybe 2 years ago, so now I'm rolling in my ultra-budget system. It's more of an experiment always in progress. This week I sealed my doors and also got the circuit diagram for and built a PWM LED Dimmer so I can make my ride ultra-sexy for the ladies. lol. New here. Drive an Eddie Bauer Explorer. I ordered the 12" Icon and Sundown 1000 combo on Monday. Can't wait to get it in. It said 3 day ground so I guess Ill get it tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Didnt get a tracking number so not quite sure. Im not worried about it though. Im assuming that ICON12D2 means Icon 12" dual 2 ohm so I can run it at 1ohm right? Couldnt imagine them selling the 1 ohm DVC with the amp. Anyways, thanks for the forum and the products. I'll be sure to make a build log when I order my wire and start on the box.

whats up guys.. about to purchase 2 Soundsplinter RL-i 10"s and an alpine 1.1000 amp, good combo or should I go with a different amp? Been browsing on here for awhile figured I should make a login.. I am going for a SQ setup, should I change subs as well or will the SS 10"s suit my needs? I listen to about 75% rock, 25% rap.. I prefer SQ, but when I want them to thump, I want them to be able to glad to be aboard!

I've just been so damn busy since I moved back to my parents house 2 years ago. I'm going to school, working 25+hours a week, coaching high school football and baseball, playing hockey and softball, along with trying to have a life. To say the least I'm a bit busy. I'm going to try to dedicate some time to checking the board atleast a few times a week. Just wanted to let the few that do know me that I'm back.

hey guys i'am new to the forum but i'am glad o found it, i own a 94 toyota supra and is looking to upgrade the music in it. i'am very undecided when it come to speaker choice so can you guys give me some feed back on some of the speakers you guys use. i have some in mind but would like to know what you guys think, i like the o2 audio or arc audio. if you guys think you found better speakers than these let me know, name brand not important because i know that some no name stuff sound better than name brand stuff.

Trolled for a while, but I'm active on a few other boards. I've been doing 12v work for a while now, but I'm just now starting to pique an interest in car audio. Looking to put in a street system in my SHO. Plans thus far, are a Hypnotic 75x4 powering some Pioneer REV-series decks and doors. HU is a Pioneer DEH-P4700MP, for now. Looking into double DINs. For a sub, probably a Mach5 10", on an undecided amp. Not looking to get too loud, but loud enough for me. I may not build a competition system, but I'm a learner. I'll take whatever knowledge I can get, need it or not.

HI everyone I'm Kyle. I'm new to the forum and right now I'm currnetly running 1 spl15 with 1ohmdvc on a Alphasonic PMA600HCA. I haven't had time to get it on the meter yet but I might swap to new subs and go back to 12s to better fit my listening style. What would be better the RE audio subs or the FI audio? I want something that can take all the power my amp can give them. It pushes 1800rms at 1ohm.
