Hello, I've been reading threads on here for quite sometime and there is a ton of good information. I want to follow the forum rules so I thought I would go ahead and make this thread. Anywho, some background information on me. I'm currently going to school to be an electrical engineer, so hopefully one day I can design speakers, amps, other audio types equipment. My favorite types of music is folk/progressive/neo-classical/thrash metal, blues, virtuoso guitar , and other stuff For TV definitely got to have my South Park, Dexter, Simpsons, Tosh.0, and Top Gear I'm running CDT, kicker, Alpine, Audioque, and Pioneer in my car. just wanted to introduce myself somewhat to everyone on this forum. i'd normally be on CSO but since that is down i needed a new place to lurk and well it seems like this would be a good place. a few members here i recognize and most i don't. i'm not a big poster so i usualy only post on things i feel i could try to help people with and what not. yeah so well back to my lurking!

Just dropping in to say hello to everyone. I have been installing my own basic audio equipment for years. But, I'm looking to learn more of the custom installation like fiberglass, etc.

saw the link on FXN and i knew for a while that denim had a site somewhere but i didnt know the address. anyway my name is matt im 18 and from midlothian, VA. i drive a 98' explorer sport. right now im runnin a HiFonics BX1605D 1600watt amp and some crappy RF subs, but by the end of the week i should have my 2 RE SE 12"s in the mail. im hoping to learn some things from this site. any way just sayin hi.

Long story short i made a thread on a local forum (hawaiicaraudio.net) and it was about my 12" si mag v3. Someone mentioned a ssa xcon and them being great """SQL""" subs, compareable to my mag in many ways they said. That was enough for me to want to join this forum, ive actually browsed on here before, read up on a few different sundown topics (x-8 which im excited for). From what ive seen, this seems like another great forum So yea...WHAT UP GUYS!

Hey im new to the site im running two RE MT 12's off of two sundown SAZ 1500D's I am a memeber of TEAM OL SKOOL and i am getting 151db in a regular cab dodge pick up with no cuting at all there are pics on the sundown forum if you want to check them out or on Teamolskool.com

Hey all - I have been a member of this forum for quite a while now but this is my first actual post. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to car audio as I've only done a few simple things such as head unit, amp, and sub installs in the most basic ways. I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 with a JVC KD-LH300 for the head unit. For sub and amp, I have a Massive Audio CW12 and a Massive Audio P1000.1 respectively. The sub is housed in a JL Audio stealth box (came with the truck when I bought it). I just deadened some key areas with RAAMmat which I will be posting pictures of that build shortly. whats goin on everybody, im sorta new to car audio but in the past 6 months ive gotten REALLY into it, i have 2 1000w 12"inch jbl gti series subs that knock heads, im pushing about 2.5 watts out my setup. what about u guys
