Hello, I've been reading threads on here for quite sometime and there is a ton of good information. I want to follow the forum rules so I thought I would go ahead and make this thread. Anywho, some background information on me. I'm currently going to school to be an electrical engineer, so hopefully one day I can design speakers, amps, other audio types equipment. My favorite types of music is folk/progressive/neo-classical/thrash metal, blues, virtuoso guitar , and other stuff For TV definitely got to have my South Park, Dexter, Simpsons, Tosh.0, and Top Gear I'm running CDT, kicker, Alpine, Audioque, and Pioneer in my car. Hey guys. Been in Tulsa the last 10 years and liked it enough to stay and raise my kids here. Been into car audio for around 20 years or so and absolutely love where it's gone and where it's going! It's really taken off here in Tulsa. About half of the Craigslist ads under electronics are for car audio gear! Lol! Going to to Oklahoma City fairgrounds for the USACi show and hope to see whoever can make it out there.

I'm new to this forum and thought I would introduce myself. I just got my skar audio VVX 8 and it's nice. i plan on running 3 VVX 8's @2 ohms on 1000 RMS. tuned to 33 Htz. i plan on having this build done within the next few months. im on realmofexcurtion aswell

New to this forum but been around for a while on others and in the audio hobby for 15 years . Look forward to the info !

Hi everyone, my name is Brian and I am from central Illinois. I have been into car audio since I was 16 and am now 31. I currently have a 99 Mazda Millenia S with Soundstream Van Gogh amps, ID components and IDMax subs. My wife also has a system in her 06 Escape. It has Alpine Type R comps and Type R 10's with MA Audio amps and Pioneer Premier head. I also have a 92 Tbird Supercoupe that has had about 6 or 7 different configurations in it. I love doing this and don't see myself ever stopping! I am glad I stumbled across this forum and am looking for a nice change from the dramafest that is carsound.com.

Hello everyone, I am new here and fairly new to installing car audio but I believe I have a strong understanding from reading and research and tinkering with my older vehicles when I was younger but things have changed since then with the advancement of technology. Hey everyone I'm new here and I'm going to need all the help I can I use to do spl comps. for fun in my old cars but now I really want to get into them a little more and start pounding out some big numbers. I'm looking at running 1 12" in my 08 tC.

I found this through a post on some other forum. I'm just glad I'm not the only guy that can see the potential for limitless power one piece at a time.
