I used to go by 144Fidb15 but I stopped using the account a year ago and I think the account was deleted. So this is my new SN. Thinking about a new SQ build in the SHO on a small 2 grand budget.....soooo yeah Im new but im not and ill just be trollin the forum for a while.

Hi all. I just purchased a 2010 Dodge Ram crew cab laramie and am looking to outfit it with a nice SQ oriented sound system. My first truck was an old 97 f150 single cab with a full memphis setup. My second truck was an 07 sport trac with CDT es-62i components and a jl8w3 ported sub. I am not a total newb when it comes to car audio but at the same time there is always room to learn more and that is what I plan on doing as I ask questions about what I should run in this setup. This site looks very promising.

Hi, I have a ford Taurus 2006 sel. I have the regular factory stereo, and I would like to hook my iPhone up to it. I tried an fm transmitter but did not like it. Is there any way I can hook it up to the factory stereo? I have read about the pie adapters. Will they work at my car? I am open for any suggestion! Preferable the cheapest. I would really appreciate some help! Thanks Christian

Trolled for a while, but I'm active on a few other boards. I've been doing 12v work for a while now, but I'm just now starting to pique an interest in car audio. Looking to put in a street system in my SHO. Plans thus far, are a Hypnotic 75x4 powering some Pioneer REV-series decks and doors. HU is a Pioneer DEH-P4700MP, for now. Looking into double DINs. For a sub, probably a Mach5 10", on an undecided amp. Not looking to get too loud, but loud enough for me. I may not build a competition system, but I'm a learner. I'll take whatever knowledge I can get, need it or not.

Hello!! memebers!! I'm new here and been out of the car stereo for 15yrs and I'm back at it. I was using mb quarts and jl12w6 run by soundstream on my last set up about 15 yrs ago. I stopped messing with car audio since I got into fast cars. I was busy taking every possible weight out of my cars. I just found this forum. Been back in car audio for two yrs and really gotten serious about it over the winter. I built a wall which I am still experimenting with. 3 18" sealed ~20cu. on 1500 watts. 145.9 on tl w/drivers door open. I've had a lot of fun making vids for my YT channel (same name) I run some old school gear the sq cats used in the nineties you can see in my sig. It has been fun to re-purpose them for a low power ""SQL"" build. The car isn't finished yet and I think the wall will be rebuilt this fall for 6 18" sealed in a vertical clamshell.
