just checking in fellas. looking for a serious car audio forum!

Well, I've been reading stuff over here for the last few months but never got around to getting involved. Well, now that's changed. I am familiar with a few of the folks on here from FSC and found this site to have a lot more info than I could ever use. I wish I had the time to take it all in. Anyways, I am from Atlanta, born raised and I'll die here. Live in the shadow of the world's largest relief carving staring every morning at Davis, Lee, and Jackson. Man, they sure look grey. Hope to enjoy it here and learn a lot from you folks. Ya'll don't hesitate to ask me anything.

What's good everyone just stopping by here to say hey to the board & introduce myself. I'll admit that i'm really armature with the whole topic of systems but i've joined the board to watch & learn and one day become as knowledgeable as some of you are. I've always loved loud music but never really took systems seriously until now. I just bought a car this past week, a '94 Ford Probe, and the first thing on my to do list is get some boom in there!

Hello everybody, my name is Philip Stanfield (also user name, creative, huh?), joining from Memphis, TN. Just to say a little about myself, I currently do NOT have a car . BUT will be buying one sometime this or next month. I totaled my Ford Ranger back in November of last year, and haven't had the money to get a new car since. Hows it going everyone? New to the forums. I came here from caraudio.com I saw this forum from one of the guys there and thought I would check it out. Hoping to learn a thing or two. I overseas right now serving in the army in germany. I like it here but wish i was back home. I have some audio equipment for my 97' Chevy S-10 4 sundown E8's, alpine deck, sundown saz-1200D amp and a hifonics amp. Pretty much just sitting in my closet at home due to the army, but im wanting some audio stuff for my 00' toyota camry. Kinda torn between do many options. I figured while im in germany i can spend my free time tinkering with caraudio Brandon

hey i just joined up here, joined about 1 week ago at caraudio-forum.com, and been a member at roe.com for about a year. my system (which i will put in my sig.) is an Alpine cda9856, 30g ipod, 2 alpine type r d4 12"s in a 1.49cu. ft. per chamber vented enclosure, knukoncepts 1/0 power/ground wire and sundown audio saz 1500d @ 1ohm. after i get it hooked up an see how my voltage does i will be purchasing a trunk battery as well. the only electrical upgrades i have are 80 amp alt. (stock 65amp) and a duralast gold 1000ca (stock 650ca) battery under the hood. this is all in a black on black w/ chrome trim 1986 lincoln towncar sig. series.

Hey Ive been reading forums for awhile but haven't really posted anywhere. My first equipment was 2 12" MTX 5000s powered by a US Acoustics 2200f. I hope to be of some help here and receive some more Knowledge.

New here. Drive an Eddie Bauer Explorer. I ordered the 12" Icon and Sundown 1000 combo on Monday. Can't wait to get it in. It said 3 day ground so I guess Ill get it tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Didnt get a tracking number so not quite sure. Im not worried about it though. Im assuming that ICON12D2 means Icon 12" dual 2 ohm so I can run it at 1ohm right? Couldnt imagine them selling the 1 ohm DVC with the amp. Anyways, thanks for the forum and the products. I'll be sure to make a build log when I order my wire and start on the box.
