I just signed up for this forum, so far i've picked up alot of great info. I've been into car stereo for about 10 years as a consumer, and i have installed probably 8 full systems and countless deck, door speaker, and or sub installs. Hello everyone. After some research I got a brand new Fi SSD10 with copper coil's so i'm just here kicking around learning what I can.

Im new here and the reason i joined is i need help desigining an enslosure for my 15" fully loaded btl. I will be feeding it 3200 rms. i want to know what the maximum port area and box volume i should run with that much power. I want the make this single woofer as loud as possible while still being a daily setup for music only. no fart boxes and i dont compete. its going into a 2000 chryaler 300m (dodge intrepid) i will be facing the sub and port into the cabin sealed off from the trunk.

Hey, always been interested in car audio, haven't really had much experience with it though. My job currently deals with a lot of electronics and electricity so figured why not dive in now while I can install it all myself

So I've been perusing the forum for a while now, but never officially introduced myself. I'm USAF stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany. Current set up is a set of Polk Audio DB5251's up front on an old PG Tantrum 250.2, 2 Diamond Audio TDX 10D4's on a SAZ-1200D and Knuconcepts 1/0. Still waiting to finish my Big 3 this weekend. Hi everyone, my name is Brian and I am from central Illinois. I have been into car audio since I was 16 and am now 31. I currently have a 99 Mazda Millenia S with Soundstream Van Gogh amps, ID components and IDMax subs. My wife also has a system in her 06 Escape. It has Alpine Type R comps and Type R 10's with MA Audio amps and Pioneer Premier head. I also have a 92 Tbird Supercoupe that has had about 6 or 7 different configurations in it. I love doing this and don't see myself ever stopping! I am glad I stumbled across this forum and am looking for a nice change from the dramafest that is carsound.com.

hey everybody i just stumbled upon ssa equipment watching youtube videos and i like everything i see so far. will be buying a set of dcon 12's very soon. right now i'm running kicker cvr's and they suck!! LOL Also i have been checking out sundown amps. how do they compare in sq compared to a jl slash of equivalent power?
