Trolled for a while, but I'm active on a few other boards. I've been doing 12v work for a while now, but I'm just now starting to pique an interest in car audio. Looking to put in a street system in my SHO. Plans thus far, are a Hypnotic 75x4 powering some Pioneer REV-series decks and doors. HU is a Pioneer DEH-P4700MP, for now. Looking into double DINs. For a sub, probably a Mach5 10", on an undecided amp. Not looking to get too loud, but loud enough for me. I may not build a competition system, but I'm a learner. I'll take whatever knowledge I can get, need it or not.

While browsing through some threads of other forums, I saw the SSA banner in a sig and realized I had never tried this forum out. I'm here to learn and share what knowledge I already have... I'm an atheist if that matters...I'll try not to offend any one. Theres my hello...

I had some questions about the SSA DCON, so I thought I'd register here. I've been in and out of car audio since the late 90's. I always like to get loud, but care about quality too.

Sup everyone? I’m from northwest Indiana and been into car audio since I had my first vehicle. currently I’m driving a 2004 GMC Yukon, the head units a pioneer AVH-1500NEX That’s playing thru 6.5” DB Drive pro audio midranges (P3 4M6K) in all doors and their pro audio 1” P5TW 7D tweeters also in the front doors. Powered by an AutoTek ASM-1200.4 amp with the front doors going thru a DB Drive 12DB Passive Cross over. And in my trunk space I’ve got 2 Kicker L7 12’s in a sealed box (got the subs and box for free from a buddy) powered by a kicker cx1300.1 and a second battery. I got it stock with original radio (Bose amplified) and did all the install myself. I plan on r…

What's up everybody? The name's Tre'. I'm from Columbia, South Carolina. I signed up after hearing about these forums at a sound comp in Sumter, SC. Shout out to Gary [banginALTIMA], Jacob, Paul [12-12's in Cherokee], and my homie Rowshard who introduced me to Fi Audio. Fi is on another level as far as sound quality and sound pressure go. I've heard all kind of subs - Kicker, Memphis Audio, JL Audio, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, Pioneer, MTX... and to be honest, those are good subs, but Fi, RE, SSA, and Sundown subs are...well you have to hear and FEEL them to really get an impression of them. I already picked out my system when I start working again... Panasonic CQ-C7000U 2…

Hello, I've been reading threads on here for quite sometime and there is a ton of good information. I want to follow the forum rules so I thought I would go ahead and make this thread. Anywho, some background information on me. I'm currently going to school to be an electrical engineer, so hopefully one day I can design speakers, amps, other audio types equipment. My favorite types of music is folk/progressive/neo-classical/thrash metal, blues, virtuoso guitar , and other stuff For TV definitely got to have my South Park, Dexter, Simpsons, Tosh.0, and Top Gear I'm running CDT, kicker, Alpine, Audioque, and Pioneer in my car. There, now you know more about me then you'd …

Long story short i made a thread on a local forum (hawaiicaraudio.net) and it was about my 12" si mag v3. Someone mentioned a ssa xcon and them being great """SQL""" subs, compareable to my mag in many ways they said. That was enough for me to want to join this forum, ive actually browsed on here before, read up on a few different sundown topics (x-8 which im excited for). From what ive seen, this seems like another great forum So yea...WHAT UP GUYS!
