Hello all, been a member on the forum for a while, recently got the itch to put some thumpin' in my 2012 Silvero Ext. cab. Anyone know of anyone in northwestern OK thats good at this car audio thing. I'm not a total beginner, but I have TONS to learn.

New here. Drive an Eddie Bauer Explorer. I ordered the 12" Icon and Sundown 1000 combo on Monday. Can't wait to get it in. It said 3 day ground so I guess Ill get it tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Didnt get a tracking number so not quite sure. Im not worried about it though. Im assuming that ICON12D2 means Icon 12" dual 2 ohm so I can run it at 1ohm right? Couldnt imagine them selling the 1 ohm DVC with the amp. Anyways, thanks for the forum and the products. I'll be sure to make a build log when I order my wire and start on the box.

Hi, I have a ford Taurus 2006 sel. I have the regular factory stereo, and I would like to hook my iPhone up to it. I tried an fm transmitter but did not like it. Is there any way I can hook it up to the factory stereo? I have read about the pie adapters. Will they work at my car? I am open for any suggestion! Preferable the cheapest. I would really appreciate some help! Thanks Christian

hey i just joined up here, joined about 1 week ago at caraudio-forum.com, and been a member at roe.com for about a year. my system (which i will put in my sig.) is an Alpine cda9856, 30g ipod, 2 alpine type r d4 12"s in a 1.49cu. ft. per chamber vented enclosure, knukoncepts 1/0 power/ground wire and sundown audio saz 1500d @ 1ohm. after i get it hooked up an see how my voltage does i will be purchasing a trunk battery as well. the only electrical upgrades i have are 80 amp alt. (stock 65amp) and a duralast gold 1000ca (stock 650ca) battery under the hood. this is all in a black on black w/ chrome trim 1986 lincoln towncar sig. series.

I stopped messing with car audio since I got into fast cars. I was busy taking every possible weight out of my cars. I just found this forum. Been back in car audio for two yrs and really gotten serious about it over the winter. I built a wall which I am still experimenting with. 3 18" sealed ~20cu. on 1500 watts. 145.9 on tl w/drivers door open. I've had a lot of fun making vids for my YT channel (same name) I run some old school gear the sq cats used in the nineties you can see in my sig. It has been fun to re-purpose them for a low power ""SQL"" build. The car isn't finished yet and I think the wall will be rebuilt this fall for 6 18" sealed in a vertical clamshell.
