I've been a member for a while, just not posted much. Figured I would say hello.

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My system in my 00 sunfire is currently just cheap Duals from best buy, but have plans to upgrade it, which is why I joined this forum. I have a lot to learn and hope I learn a lot here. What makes me want to upgrade most is sitting in my friends grand am with just one 10" Alpine Type X. The Duals have been my first system and when upgrading I'm pretty much looking at going all out with, with a ton of bass, but still retaining good sound quality. At this point I don't really know what to look for, I don't really have a set budget. If I think somethings worth the extra cash, I'll buy it. The 15" Rockford Fosgate T2's are pretty expensive,…

Just dropping by to say hey to everybody. I'm waaay too old for this, but I'm doing it again. I've been a fan of car audio since I heard my first real system back in 1984. There was a guy named Sid who owned a car stereo store, and he came by to show off his new install in his 76 or 77 Monte Carlo. It was a typical installer's car... whats goin on everybody, im sorta new to car audio but in the past 6 months ive gotten REALLY into it, i have 2 1000w 12"inch jbl gti series subs that knock heads, im pushing about 2.5 watts out my setup. what about u guys
