just stopping by here for some friendly help, giving or recieving been in car audio for about 3 years now and love every minute of it, especially last summer killing people at the local competition with 8s, they got so mad at me i got labeled a cheater for it, hehe, and now i got rli-8s coming to replace my re8s so ill be even harder to beat *insert evil laughter here*

What's going on. Came across this site and it seems real chill. Been out of car audio for a little while now. Trying to get any type of suggestions for sub, components, and mids/highs amp. I already have a Diamond Audio D5 1200.1, and really only want one sub. Not trying to blow everyone away, more into the SQ aspect, but every once in a while will turn it up and pound. Thanks and hope to enjoy this site.

I found this site through DevilDriver on S10Forum. I'm pretty active over there, especially in the car audio/security section of the forum. I know a good deal about what's going on in the audio world. I also work at circuit city installing in the roadshop. (Keep in mind that I didn't say "i'm the best installer in the world because I work in CC's roadshop". I know that Kicker isn't be-all-end-all of car audio...heh. just wanted to introduce myself im Josh 22 years old in the navy for 2 years been wanting to get into car audio since i was 14 just really had the time but im here full force now im stationed down in gulfport mississippi and if anyone knows of any shows arround here please let me know i would love to check them out right now im not running to much just a rockford T1 15 with stock electrical system and a power bass 1200.1 i plan on up grading real soon to either 2 15" or 1 18" FI audio BL with excessive amperage 350amp altenator and 2 yellow top batteries im in the process of upgrading my big 3 im waiting on my 1/0 guage wire

Sup. I have a pretty good system in my BMW, and frequented some other forums about five years ago. I'm getting the itch to rebuild again, and wondered what happened to the industry, and sort of concluded that car audio was dying. Well it looks like everyone came here. Cool forum!

Well I'm from Dallas, Tx and I've been into car audio for about 15yrs. I've always done my own installs other than build the box ( I suck at box building/designing). Currently I have a 2001 chevy s-10 extended cab. I hope there are others in this forum that are from around me. Hey, I recently heard that sundown was based in NC and I wanted to see what it was all about. I am in Shelby, about an hour from Charlotte and 30 minutes from Gastonia if that gives you any hints. I have a 1993 Nissan 240SX that gets louds with even minimal wattage. I lost my job so right now I'm running a Pioneer 12" with a Kicker 120.2 on the way. Hopefully I'll get my job back in around a month and will have more money to spend, I'd like to support Sundown since it's here in NC. Brandon
