Hey folks. I'm here to learn more about car audio. I've got a 2006 MINI Cooper S that has a piss poor OEM system and a lot of road noise. I've decided I will do sound deadening and audio system improvement. I have a handle on what I am going to do for the deadening, but the audio part is a maze right now. An item that would help me immediately is recommendations for shops to listen to speakers in the Southern California area. Thanks for your help. Paul

Hi all. I just purchased a 2010 Dodge Ram crew cab laramie and am looking to outfit it with a nice SQ oriented sound system. My first truck was an old 97 f150 single cab with a full memphis setup. My second truck was an 07 sport trac with CDT es-62i components and a jl8w3 ported sub. I am not a total newb when it comes to car audio but at the same time there is always room to learn more and that is what I plan on doing as I ask questions about what I should run in this setup. This site looks very promising.

hey im new to the bass world.. just wanted to say hello have a question for you guys.. what subs would be good to run with a soundstream rubicon 2500 at 1 ohm.. i was thinking of running 2 15 inch fi Q,s but the sales people told me the subs would prob blow out becuase of the power of the amp.. I have a dual 2.31 cubic feet box per box. sealed.. i was wondering what other subs are my options bedsides the fi q in sealed box. thanks guys

Hey guys. Been in Tulsa the last 10 years and liked it enough to stay and raise my kids here. Been into car audio for around 20 years or so and absolutely love where it's gone and where it's going! It's really taken off here in Tulsa. About half of the Craigslist ads under electronics are for car audio gear! Lol! Going to to Oklahoma City fairgrounds for the USACi show and hope to see whoever can make it out there.

Hi everyone, my name is Brian and I am from central Illinois. I have been into car audio since I was 16 and am now 31. I currently have a 99 Mazda Millenia S with Soundstream Van Gogh amps, ID components and IDMax subs. My wife also has a system in her 06 Escape. It has Alpine Type R comps and Type R 10's with MA Audio amps and Pioneer Premier head. I also have a 92 Tbird Supercoupe that has had about 6 or 7 different configurations in it. I love doing this and don't see myself ever stopping! I am glad I stumbled across this forum and am looking for a nice change from the dramafest that is carsound.com.

What's good everyone just stopping by here to say hey to the board & introduce myself. I'll admit that i'm really armature with the whole topic of systems but i've joined the board to watch & learn and one day become as knowledgeable as some of you are. I've always loved loud music but never really took systems seriously until now. I just bought a car this past week, a '94 Ford Probe, and the first thing on my to do list is get some boom in there!
