hey yall im comin over here from caraudio.com hope to enjoy learnin and chit

I am from Minnesota and in January moving to Phoenix area to go to school at MMI. I have a 10 type r at the moment and the icon 10 i on its way to me as we speak. It is going into an 02 Trans Am WS6. I have a rockford p500.2 powering my alpin typ r componnt set and a rockford p1000bd powering the type r 10. I have a new box on its way to me also, it is 1.25ft^3 with dual ports. I will get pictures of everything when it is all here.

Sup everyone, I'm a SPL lover from Hawaii. Though I don't have lots of knowledge about car audio, I've got a pretty decent stereo in my room, equipped with the Dayton 15" 1000W sub, with an old 2 ch. Harman Kardon amp. The amp is pretty old, and it doesn't even have provisions for a sub. A car audio Speaker-> Line Level convertor was thrown in there somewhere. I'll be posting more about my home system in the Home Audio sticky in a bit. Other then that, I don't have a car system yet... Whats up y'all? I found this site in my search for info. on Fi subs. I liked what I saw as far as people helping out more than on other forums. I'm putting together a 1998 Nissan Maxima. Planning on doing a SQ(L) set-up. Only thing I have bought so far is a set of CDT HD-62/M6 components, but I'm not in any rush since my car should be in the body shop for a couple more months.

whats up, i have been reading alot on FI products on other forum and decided to join here to figure out what i wanted to do. I have a 95 civic hatchback. I was running 2 L7 15's with 2 mtx 81000ds, but sold everything. Thinking i was getting out of audio. So im looking around to see what to do next.

Whats up everyone? Obviously I'm new to this forum... But anyway, ive been lurking for a few weeks reading and all that good stuff and now im ready to buy a new sub system. I had been running 4 RE8's in a 6th order bandpass untill my amp crapped out on me. Now I'm looking to run a single 15 or 18 in my explorer. Hopefully when the time comes i can get the help i need.

Hey guys hows it going? Im in the process of building my system. I have a 18"BTL fully loaded and a Kicker kx2500.1, lots of 1/0 wire, 2 optimas and some other goodies. This is all going in the back of my ext cab chevy bagged on 22's. The box is going to be 7.2 cubic feet tuned to 31 hz...Ill get some pics up as soon as i get the sub and amp (in the process of being shipped) and some pics of the box build. Great forum cant wait to get this thing hooked up

Hi, I new on this forum , my question is : the sub FI serie Q 18 inch working well on sealed box ??? ,, what king of sound the will generated ?? i think order to fi 2 18 fi Serie Q but i have this question ? i made space for 6.5 pie3 for two sub ?? is make posiblee sound better ???

hey guys well i've been into car audio for the last year or so. i have two re audio sx tens in a civic that does 141.9.. now i'm taking one of the subs and amps that i have out and putting on of them into my bronco. now my problem is that i have no clue on how to build boxes.. one guy i know has a program on how to build them but he's been a dick lately and wants an outrageous amount to design one for me does anyone know where i can get some help with this? the guy who helped build my stereo is not living in the city anymore.. any help is appreciated Brandon

Well, I've been reading stuff over here for the last few months but never got around to getting involved. Well, now that's changed. I am familiar with a few of the folks on here from FSC and found this site to have a lot more info than I could ever use. I wish I had the time to take it all in. Anyways, I am from Atlanta, born raised and I'll die here. Live in the shadow of the world's largest relief carving staring every morning at Davis, Lee, and Jackson. Man, they sure look grey. Hey, I'm an old retired dB Dragger that followed Nick Wright and the Incriminator Audio guys over here. I have been away from car audio for a few years now and was doing some research for a friend that wants me to do his install. Glad I found this place...what better company than a bunch of people that think just like me! I like the forums appearance and so far have seen alot of helpful information being exchanged. I'm Scott, out of Atlanta Georgia. I'm a up and coming/learning installer. Currently at Fry's Electronics. I've been learning on my own, making every mistake in the books since I was 15 and my buddy got his first car. I'm now only 19, and 3 months into being a working installer. So far worked on some really cool cars, done some pretty cool installs. Just a few pics of my favorite installs so far. I'm more of an SQ guy but I'm getting into SPL. Something about seeing metal flex like rubber puts a smile on my face. I look forward to learning a lot here, I can tell there is already a lot for me to read through and that this is an exceptionally knowledgeable forum!
