Hey! I am new to this forum obviously. i came across it through soundsplinter's webpage. I am somewhat of a newbie to car audio. I just got into it about 2 months ago, but I have learned a ton since then. I'm currently running a pair of diamond m6 mkII 10's off a NINe.1 @ 1 ohm in a sealed box. They have awesome sq but they are lacking a little in the spl so I think I am going to upgrade to 2 rl-p 12's or a jl13w7. I probably should just build a ported box first but I found someone that wants to buy my subs for only 50 less than I paid for them. I just found this forum. Been back in car audio for two yrs and really gotten serious about it over the winter. I built a wall which I am still experimenting with. 3 18" sealed ~20cu. on 1500 watts. 145.9 on tl w/drivers door open. I've had a lot of fun making vids for my YT channel (same name) I run some old school gear the sq cats used in the nineties you can see in my sig. hey everybody i just stumbled upon ssa equipment watching youtube videos and i like everything i see so far. will be buying a set of dcon 12's very soon. right now i'm running kicker cvr's and they suck!! LOL Also i have been checking out sundown amps. how do they compare in sq compared to a jl slash of equivalent power?

Im new here and the reason i joined is i need help desigining an enslosure for my 15" fully loaded btl. I will be feeding it 3200 rms. i want to know what the maximum port area and box volume i should run with that much power. I want the make this single woofer as loud as possible while still being a daily setup for music only. no fart boxes and i dont compete. its going into a 2000 chryaler 300m (dodge intrepid) i will be facing the sub and port into the cabin sealed off from the trunk.
