Im not an expert in anything, but more than willing to answer questions I know... oh yeah, I know how to use search, but Im going to post the pain in the ass "what sub?" question right away...

hey everybody i just stumbled upon ssa equipment watching youtube videos and i like everything i see so far. will be buying a set of dcon 12's very soon. right now i'm running kicker cvr's and they suck!! LOL Also i have been checking out sundown amps. how do they compare in sq compared to a jl slash of equivalent power?

thought i'd say hey since im the new guy here. it got way too crowded at CA.com and its hard to get any answers outta them so hopefully that'll be different here.

Hi everyone. Name is Eric. Checking in on the forums. I am new to the big bass scene, but have a knack for stereos and electronics in general. Current ride is a 2010 Tundra Double Cab. It has a Mechman 240A alternator, Diehard Platinum 31M AGM battery, and big 3 completed in it. Running a JVC arsenal KD-A845BT deck, with Kenwood KFC-P709PS components and KFC-X173 coaxes powered off the deck (nothing fancy, but wasn't looking to kill my check book over door speakers.) I have a RF1500BDCP amp installed and SSA ZCON12 D2 (currently enroute to me). Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum. Found it while surfing on Fi's website. Just purchased two 12" SSD's and I am stoked to get them. The first system I had was definitely a newb setup but it worked out for the six months that I had it. I had 2 12" RF P1's, a Profile 1000w amp, and a pioneer deck - cant remember what model off hand. The box was a sealed box that had a space in the middle for the amp to sit and had a neon light above it that turned on when I opened the trunk. Anyways, can't wait to get started on my new system and looking forward to being a part of this forum.

I dont know much about the technical side of car audio.... i am a wood worker so i love making sub boxes and basic installs and i look forward to learning more here is the most recent box i made, for my jeep cherokee here it is before the grill after the grill, made it out of 3/16 steel very durable. it does resonate with certain freqencies though
