Some might recognize me from CA.com with the same name. I'll try to shut up until I've learned enough on here not to get "STFU noob"'ed when posting. <--- thats awesome.

Hey guys I just joined here but have been a member of another audio forum for a few years. My current set up I have in my expedition is a pioneer f900 head unit, inifinity kappa components in the front doors and kappa 6x9's in the back powered by a alpine 400.4 amp. Right now I have a 12" mach 5 audio ixl powered by a total mobile audio 1000.1. Pretty happy with that set up but have always wanted a big sub so I ordered a 15" FI Bl and just got it today. I get my expedition back tomorrow and then am going to install it. I built a 3.5 cu.ft box that is tuned to 32hz. I am in the process of covering it in truck bed liner and hoping it turns out alright. I joined the forum to…

Hi everyone. I've been coming to this message board for about 2 years now just to lurk and read over your technical threads again and again. It has been interesting watching this place change. I've been wanting to engage more with Audio community in general, but I can't bring myself to post on other message boards for reasons we will just leave alone right now. I'm doing what I think are some cool things right now, and I'd like to share and gather input from other users. I used to compete in dB drag, but in the last year i've been more and more interested in hifi and audiophile sound. I have a pair of 36" tall tower speakers I'm going to be rebuilding soon, and a 91 Ho…

Hey folks. I'm here to learn more about car audio. I've got a 2006 MINI Cooper S that has a piss poor OEM system and a lot of road noise. I've decided I will do sound deadening and audio system improvement. I have a handle on what I am going to do for the deadening, but the audio part is a maze right now. An item that would help me immediately is recommendations for shops to listen to speakers in the Southern California area. Thanks for your help. Paul

Wow, I barely remember joining this forum a year ago. I believe I came here to look up some information on Mach5 Audio who regretfully is no longer here. Anyhow, this has to be a world record between my forum join date and my first post.

Hello all. I'm not new to this board, I think I registered like 3 years ago, but haven't visited since August 2007 says my last login thingie. I just feel the need to pick a new online community since my "first love" of soundillusions.net/carstereos.org is down again. And so is forceaudio.com, though that one has never gotten much attention and only a very small core group. My reason for picking this board was highlighted by the fact that it was home to Stereo Integrity, but now I see they're moving to their own place. doh. Oh well, I'm still really just after staying somewhat up to date on new stuff and chatting with/getting to know folks. And this board has a ton …

Hey guys. I've been a member at CarAudio.com for a year or so and everyone always mentions this site, so I figured I'd pop in and see whats up! I've been into car audio for about 2 years now. I still have a lot to learn, but I mostly check out the classified ads over at CA.com. It'll be nice to keep up with the new products from the manufacturer forums! I recognize a bunch of names from over on CA.com; old family new house? Thanks guys, and I'll see ya 'round!

Good Morning Bass Heads. I'm new to the forum (obviously), been lurking for about a year now, finally signed up. I'm a big fan of Incriminator Audio and their website led me here the first time. Plans include buying an 04 Touareg (possibly this coming weekend) and dumping it. Can't decide on what to put in it yet. I can hook up a basic car stereo and all of its parts but my knowledge on the whole subject of car audio is lacking. That's why I'm here.

I found this site through DevilDriver on S10Forum. I'm pretty active over there, especially in the car audio/security section of the forum. I know a good deal about what's going on in the audio world. I also work at circuit city installing in the roadshop. (Keep in mind that I didn't say "i'm the best installer in the world because I work in CC's roadshop". I know that Kicker isn't be-all-end-all of car audio...heh. I know what T/S parameters mean and how they work, I know how to properly build and tune a ported box, and I know how to set up a good soundstage. I am also an electrical engineering student at Rowan University.) I just wanted to join an audio forum fre…

Just wanted to say hi to the forum. I am new to this forum but have been into car audio for around 20 years. I have to say that this is one of the best forums I have seen for car stereos. I am getting a truck soon and am getting ready for a new system. I have my components and 3 amps from my last set up, just need to decide on the rest of the equipment after I get the vehicle.
