whats up guys. gettin into the forum game.

I have done months and months of research and years of trials in car audio installs and have become intermediate in my knowledge. I am Interested in putting more muscle in the trunk of my 95 Mazda Millinia. My setup includes: A stock 90 amp alternator connected with premium 0/1 gauge to my Oddesy 65-PC1750 Battery that is also grounded with the same gauge. A Kenwood Excellon KDC X493 head unit with true 4v pre amps A Hifonics Zeus ZRX1000.4 amp powering Kenwood Excellon XR-1800P Components in the front and Kenwood Excellon KFC-X693 6x9's in the back. new guy from hercules ca (east bay area) drive a 04 g35 sedan. currently have 2 fi ssd 10's being powered by a audiopipe apsm-1300. in about a week and a half i am getting a second 1 though so i can push 1000 wrms to each sub instead of only 300 which it is currently at. they are in a 3 cuft ported box tuned to 33. looks like a pretty awesome forum so far just from searchin around. hopefully i can find a lot of useful info.

This is my first post on the board. Just saying hello. I am the proud new owner of a ZCON 15 as well as several other products purchased through SSA. I am 49 years old and have been fooling with this stuff for over 30 years as an amateur. I recently built my best system yet. I'm not totally a noob, but I'm no expert either. Just got 2 team 18's(dual 2's) and plan on putting either 2 bc5500's or one 'merica 12k on them for power. I want to do a flat wall but need a little help on what size box to use, i.e. cubic feet per sub, sq in per cube for port, aero or slot, and tuning frequency. Thanks in advance for the help! Oh and space is no issue as it's going in an Astro.

Hey ya'll, finally done enough lurking to (hopefully) not embarrass myself. I'm 27, from Yazoo MS, and own a Monument shop. That's right, tombstones. I've been into car audio since i was 10, and have been building race trucks/mud trucks since i was 14. I have the same problem that I imagine many people have when they first find SSA. I have had probably 25 complete systems, all done by me, but they were are common name brand/low end stuff. Lots of Pioneer, low level Rockford, etc. Even some Audiobahn.
