Whats up guys, Names Russell and I'm from Oklahoma. Currently working on a stereo system to go into a 1997 nissan hardbody ext cab...I was thinkin 2 RE 15's and a US Amps Merlin 2000 w amp to power them...Lemme know what you think! I'm really considering using a sundown 1500d instead, but I dunno yet. Anyways good to be here!

HI guys, I have tried searching for this problem but can't find the answer so here I am. I had recently installed an amp (boss audio chaos rev455) to power my front door speakers and tweeters (power acoustik nb-4). I put the amp in the trunk, because it wouldnt fit under the front seats and ran the rca's and the speaker wire along the passenger side of the car and power wire and remote down the drivers side. When i start the car i get this quiet very fast intermitten noise out of the tweeters. The sound does not increase with rpms, or volume, it stays constant and cannot be heard in the door speakers. Hi, I'm new to SSA but I'm on lots of other forums (12volt, clublexus, lexusownersclub, b20vtech, ect.) under the same screen name. I have completed a few very basic automotive audio setups in the past but I figure this is probably a great place to stay up to date. I also build custom enclosures for friends and sometimes other people with deep pockets. I'm unemployed at the moment so I may be on here often for info, advice and general forum BS. Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and new to car audio. I recently purchased a 100.2 amp and 10"sub from Jacob at Sundown, I guess this is my first real amp and sub, before that I had a 200 watt bazooka tube hooked up to a Kole 2 channel amp. It was ok I guess for my hatchback. I like music and listen to almost everything, lately I been listening to allot of Latin Jazz but I also love to listen to instrumental metal rock, and I really like music that mixes up a little bit of everything in like highs for the speakers and lows for my sub. So I guess thats it for now. just a little bit about my self. thanks for reading.

Yo i'm a lil' southern boy from charleston SC haha and i was lookin for some help on my system setup. What i have planned so far is a 10" 2 ohm FI Q for my acura rsx. (It's a hatchback and there's nothing between the seats and the trunk) I already have some polk component speakers which will do for now. Right now i have a JL Audio 12w6v2 in a sealed box powered by a JL 250/1, some VR 6.5 components that are in the stock locations and a RF 200.2... Hey all. I was doing some research for my new system and found a lot of good info on this site, so decided to join up. I have a 2008 c6 that needs some audio help. Right now it has pioneer Avic z3 and polk components. I just purchased an re audio slim line 10 and us amps ax600de (cant wait to install them). Searching for a us amps for front stage and plan on pulling the polk db speakers and putting in some re xxx components. We will see. Ive been in and out of car audio. During my teenage years I was in to spl and owned the ol school orion hcca amps (loved those). Now, Im getting old and not looking to crack any windows!!
