Hello All, I would like to tell everyone hi and i hope i have some good experiences here. My project vehicle is a 1995 Nissan 200SX Coupe. Currently the entire system was stripped out to make way for new. Hopefully it will be hitting SPL competitions next year. I'm not new to car audio, but i am here to learn, listen and find new and better ways to do things.

I have been a long time audio enthusiast but always went with the prepackaged systems. Did lots of research a few years ago and finally designed my own system. Now looking for some upgrades and was hoping to take advantage of some of the expertise available on these forums. Thanks

Hello to all! This is my first post and I'd like to get some info (please). I've a 2007 Subaru Forester that I plan on having a system installed and have some questions concerning the install. The system will consist of Tru amps, t03-250.2 (for sub) & t03-4.150 (for front tweets & mids). HU will be Clarion DRZ-9255. The speaks will be either Hybrid Audio Referernce or Seas Reference. Anyway, here are the questions & pardon me, I know only enough about installs to start a fire. 1-Are the DRZ-9255 crossovers active & do I need outbord crossovers? 2-Is there such a thing as a sub that can/will compliment the seas or Hybrid drivers? 3. Brand new on the forum here. Been lurking a bit since I ordered my DCON and decided to become official. I'm not totally new to the car audio world having had several set ups in the past, but not an expert by any means. Took a several year hiatus and getting interested again. Current ride is a 2003 Audi a4 avant. Ordered a 10" DCON a few weeks ago and getting excited to receive it. The sub will be getting 3 different boxes, starting with an ideal sealed MDF enclosure, then a close to ideal ported MDF enclosure. Probably ending up in my first attempt at a glass enclosure which will most likely be sealed. I am a guy who really, really needs my cargo space so the MDF enclosur…

first post to the ssa forum, really looking forward to reading as much as i can about all kinds of things concerning sound, currently drive a 03 si hatch with a few sound goodies alpha damp on the doors sides and rear hatch, set of 6.5 jbl components running about 200 watts and an apline type s 12 on 500 watts, sounds pretty ok looking for the next sub stage to replace the over sized box and perhaps pick up some lows i know i am missing.
