Hello, i found your web site while looking for some info on Fi subs and found more than I ever wanted. But anyway I have been into car audio since before I could drive and I seems that this addiction will not go away anytime soon, its going on 8 years now since I first intalled a pair of tens in my firebird. haha But I am accually about to take my exam for my MECP cert. and plan on working the rest of my way through college doing this or may be turning this into a career. I have enjoyed reading some of the posted topics and have learned a lot from you guys already.

I keep hearing about this forum on other I frequent so I figured I would check it out!

hello ppl. i was just wondering if someone could give me a little bit of advice. i have a 93 dodge shadow that im thinkin about gettin a system for. it will be a daily use system but i like my bass to hit hard and i was thinkin about goin with 2 12" btl d2's but dont really have any idea as far as an amp. question, would it be better to get one amp and bridge the 2 subs to it or get an amp for each sub. and if someone has the dimensions for a ported box tuned to 32hz for the 2 12" d2 btl's plz let me know them. the type of music i listen to mostly is rap but i do have a few bass cd's like= Knights of Bass, Bass Mechaniks, Bass Patrol and a few others

Hello All, I would like to tell everyone hi and i hope i have some good experiences here. My project vehicle is a 1995 Nissan 200SX Coupe. Currently the entire system was stripped out to make way for new. Hopefully it will be hitting SPL competitions next year. I'm not new to car audio, but i am here to learn, listen and find new and better ways to do things.

Well, I was a lurker, and light user before, but I think I will take a better look at SSA I' am from SMD, and I guess I'am tired of seeing the same faces with the same comments over there, so I'am here now I'am a big audio enthusiast, been installing mobile audio since 96'ish, did 4-5 years of speaker assembly, design, and prototyping. Hello everyone, Im rather new to the scene and am always looking to learn something new. I drive a 90 integra, and as far as my stereo, it's a work in progress. I currently have an eclipse 8053 hu, 2212 amp for my highs, I'm getting ready to pick up a us amps 1000x to push my dd 3510, and up front, Im running a pair of pioneer 6 1/2s for now.

I'm Scott, out of Atlanta Georgia. I'm a up and coming/learning installer. Currently at Fry's Electronics. I've been learning on my own, making every mistake in the books since I was 15 and my buddy got his first car. I'm now only 19, and 3 months into being a working installer. So far worked on some really cool cars, done some pretty cool installs. Just a few pics of my favorite installs so far. I'm more of an SQ guy but I'm getting into SPL. Something about seeing metal flex like rubber puts a smile on my face. I look forward to learning a lot here, I can tell there is already a lot for me to read through and that this is an exceptionally knowledgeable forum!

After about 10 years of being out of the hobby and listening to subpar factory systems, I've decided to jump back in. I sold almost all my equipment I've had from the mid 90's, but I've started purchasing some odds and ends (JBL 600.1, Arc fd2100, Kenwood 722) in attempt to start back out. This is for one of my 99 Eclipses, in hopes of having a nice sounding DD. I'm pretty heavy into Home Audio/Theater, so riding is my daily for my 30 min trip to work is a serious drag. I look forward to the help and criticism in the future in the goal of having a SQ setup.
