Hello everybody, Just making an introduction post here on the ssa forum. First a little background about myself, I am 23 and have been in the car audio world since I was 16. I am an F-16 electrical/environmental systems specialist for the air national guard and write electrical repair manuals for John Deere and hitachi excavators. I first found out about ssa woofers on the smd forum. After doing some research, I decided to purchase some of the zcon series woofers for my newest truck rebuild. just stopping by here for some friendly help, giving or recieving been in car audio for about 3 years now and love every minute of it, especially last summer killing people at the local competition with 8s, they got so mad at me i got labeled a cheater for it, hehe, and now i got rli-8s coming to replace my re8s so ill be even harder to beat *insert evil laughter here*

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My system in my 00 sunfire is currently just cheap Duals from best buy, but have plans to upgrade it, which is why I joined this forum. I have a lot to learn and hope I learn a lot here. What makes me want to upgrade most is sitting in my friends grand am with just one 10" Alpine Type X. The Duals have been my first system and when upgrading I'm pretty much looking at going all out with, with a ton of bass, but still retaining good sound quality. At this point I don't really know what to look for, I don't really have a set budget. If I think somethings worth the extra cash, I'll buy it. The 15" Rockford Fosgate T2's are pretty expensive,…

I'm currently living in Ottawa, Ontario...surrounded by people that dont like bass and i just like to piss em off! haha I'm 19 and i drive a VW GTI 2003. I'm hoping to become a Fi freak! right now im running 2 12" polk audio subs powered by a kenwood amp but dyinggg for something louder. Just wanted to say hi. I'm new to the forum. I'm still putting my system together, So far it consists of an Eclipse CD7200MkII, An orion HP-4600 running 2 sets of Morel Components, and an Orion HCCA-D5000 running absolutely nothing. I need subs bad.... That's kind of what brought me to the forum. Seems pretty good. I looked around the site for about an hour before I posted. There is a lot of great info here.
