Hey, I'm new here not to 12 volt electronics. I worked for ten years in the industry way back when I was 18-28. I worked for a few shops installing then eventually sales and then wholesale sales. I put a few point driven db drag shows back when it was called "USAC", Anyway I have decided to compete in spl again using fi subs. I had a couple of competition car's from the 90's, a buick regal with 12-12"s hifonics warrior's and two son of colossus amps(ZED Audio) and did a wopping 148 lol. I had a 93 probe with 8-12" Ground zero nuclear on 4 rockford punch 800's that did 149. I couldnt seem to break the 150 barrier as all those boxes were sealed as well and I think definitel…

I just wanted to say hi, i have used fi subs in the past im back using them .I just placed my order for a 15 inch D-2 ssd with copper coils.The subs goin in a box tune to 35 Hz, sub up ports back. what u guys think of the tuning for this sub?

I have a 99' 4-door blazer HU - kdc-x990 components - Polk MMC6500 amp for components - Alpine PDX-2.150(spose to be here 6/13) And as far as the substage i will be able to order it within the next month. Sub - FI.Q 12 sealed Amp - Alpine PDX-1.1000 So thats about it tell me what ya think or whatever, c ya.

Findlay area to be more exact. i have a AUDIOPIPE TXX-AP15 EYECANDY BLUE DUAL4OHM 2000WATT 15"sub in ported box made for this sub. not very old barely used. its never been turned up dont wanna damage it. im looking to get 2-12" dual 2ohm subs in box for trade. or maybe even 1-12" dual 2ohm sub in box. there isnt enough room in my trunk for this beastly 15 and box so looking to down grade to smaller size. please feel free to make offers thanks for reading OKEY!DOKEY! My father owned and operated a local car audio store in my area for over 15 years so I lived my teenage years working in car audio which was great now looking for some subs with a little education behind it.
