Hello, I live in the French Caribeans where you don't have so much choice or informations on car audio. Thanks to all the internet forums ! I have a Toyota Auris (it is the new Corolla hatchback) with a little trunk. Here is my setup : hu Pionner 88 prs, speakers : focal 165KP (fr) and Davis Acousticscvt130(rear)on a Boston GT42 amp. sub:Kicker s15L74 on a Jl audio A1800D amp. Secondskin deadening,...... M sub is in a 4 cu ft sealed enclosure; and I really like the powerful output, but not so much the quality. Anybody know the t/s specs for the sx recone from fi audio? I just got an sx 18 with a fi recone that has the int. leads and the extra spider with the 1.4 ohm coils and I wanted to recone my sx 18 with the same set up so I can have matching woofers but I wanted to know if the 1.4 ohm coils will work with my motor so I can go ahead and order a recone but I can't get a response from anyone at fi. So help would be greatly appreciated... Thank You

Hello All, I would like to tell everyone hi and i hope i have some good experiences here. My project vehicle is a 1995 Nissan 200SX Coupe. Currently the entire system was stripped out to make way for new. Hopefully it will be hitting SPL competitions next year. I'm not new to car audio, but i am here to learn, listen and find new and better ways to do things.

Hey! I am new to this forum obviously. i came across it through soundsplinter's webpage. I am somewhat of a newbie to car audio. I just got into it about 2 months ago, but I have learned a ton since then. I'm currently running a pair of diamond m6 mkII 10's off a NINe.1 @ 1 ohm in a sealed box. They have awesome sq but they are lacking a little in the spl so I think I am going to upgrade to 2 rl-p 12's or a jl13w7. I probably should just build a ported box first but I found someone that wants to buy my subs for only 50 less than I paid for them. Hey, I'm new here not to 12 volt electronics. I worked for ten years in the industry way back when I was 18-28. I worked for a few shops installing then eventually sales and then wholesale sales. I put a few point driven db drag shows back when it was called "USAC", Anyway I have decided to compete in spl again using fi subs. I had a couple of competition car's from the 90's, a buick regal with 12-12"s hifonics warrior's and two son of colossus amps(ZED Audio) and did a wopping 148 lol. Hello all! ive been watching the fourums and learning from all the great info. I have allways had some sort of beats in my trunk for as long as I have been able to drive (going as far as shoving my old house speakers in the trunk of my moms car when i borrowed it) and have allways just "thrown" whatever equipment i could find in the trunk for some bass (was hooked on Bass after i heard Too $hort-Cusswords and some Nemisis-Munchies for my Bass on my friends system back in the days!!!), never considered the all so many things that go into a system, box size/type, amp, electrical and wire...its amazing to think back on the damage if done to some equipment Ive owned in the pa…

just sayin whats up to everyone. im starting my first actual build, nothing special but its gonna be better than last time. a couple years ago i had an eclipse amp ( i think like 300 watts?) and two 12" kicker free airs, ported in a 03 tiburon. it got loud but never hit low... i could get like the first 2 notes in "put on" by jeezy and kanye but nothin after that lol, im sure the amp wasnt fit for it at all but it totaled 50 for the amp and kickers in the prefab box and like 60 for the wiring. it got the job done for the price i guess, it was ok. but i sold the tib, have the kickers in my garage but i just dont even want them. havent got around to attempting a sale to any…
