Newbie Sign IN

Hey guys, I'm brand new to the car audio world and am looking for a system that can pound as a daily driver. I've already decided to run 2 15" N2 BTL's but am unsure on what to power them and what alt/batts to back them up. I've read a lot of forums and the DC 3.5k amp looks good plus its 15% as a presale. I was thinking of having a 320a DC power alt with an XS D975 up front and a D3100 in back, all wired 1/0 with big three. Will my system run well? and if not, what can i do to make sure i supply enough power to amp and that the amp is a good fit? BTW, budget is in $2500-$3k range Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone. My name is Justin, I am 23 years old and I am pretty much a newbie on this forum as said under my name, I have been in the Car audio industry for quite sometime and I love it even though it is very additive. On my spare time from work I love to test products from the car audio industry and recommend them to friends and family as well as write a full review on the forums of what I thought of the product.. I am also into doing some pretty decent installs and have been planning to do a full blown mach 5 system when testing is done.. Ok well I guess I will tell ya a lil about what I have and plan on getting. I have a 99' 4-door blazer HU - kdc-x990 components - Polk MMC6500 amp for components - Alpine PDX-2.150(spose to be here 6/13) And as far as the substage i will be able to order it within the next month. Sub - FI.Q 12 sealed Amp - Alpine PDX-1.1000 So thats about it tell me what ya think or whatever, c ya.

HI everyone I'm Kyle. I'm new to the forum and right now I'm currnetly running 1 spl15 with 1ohmdvc on a Alphasonic PMA600HCA. I haven't had time to get it on the meter yet but I might swap to new subs and go back to 12s to better fit my listening style. What would be better the RE audio subs or the FI audio? I want something that can take all the power my amp can give them. It pushes 1800rms at 1ohm.

just sayin whats up to everyone. im starting my first actual build, nothing special but its gonna be better than last time. a couple years ago i had an eclipse amp ( i think like 300 watts?) and two 12" kicker free airs, ported in a 03 tiburon. it got loud but never hit low... i could get like the first 2 notes in "put on" by jeezy and kanye but nothin after that lol, im sure the amp wasnt fit for it at all but it totaled 50 for the amp and kickers in the prefab box and like 60 for the wiring. it got the job done for the price i guess, it was ok. but i sold the tib, have the kickers in my garage but i just dont even want them. havent got around to attempting a sale to any…

I am building a system and starting off slow. My first purchase as far as amps and subs will be a SAZ-3000 and a Dual 2ohm BTL18. It will be wired at 1ohm for the 3000 rms. I would like to expand on this later with another SAZ-3000 and BLT18 for a combined 6000 rms. I have never strapped 2 amps before and I'm trying to make sure I buy the correct sub to start off with. I understand the impedance for a single amp system but I'm confused as to how it works when you start strapping amps together. What would my impedance be with the two amps strapped and two Dual 2ohm subs? I'm looking for a final 2 ohms since this is what the strapped amps are rated at. This has probably be…
