I am 16, just starting out my car audio career i guess you could say. Ever since last summer after my first install i started learning the right way of doing everything. Just bought a 2006 Jeep Liberty Renegade. I'm gonna take my 528i in to carmax and sell it for some money for a new system. I'm not sure how much I'll have to spend yet but I was hoping I could get some research done before I set an official budget. I listen to mainly classic dubstep and electronic music that has really, really heavy bass (I'm not talking skrilllex or Doctor P midrange bullshit/midrange dubstep.) Hey ok people i need some help i just got my first audio set up in my life i was given 2 IA DR 12s and i have never heard of this audio so im so confused... so if anyone can please help me i need to build a box for 2 12s in the back of a eclipse hatch back and what kind of amp are amps should i run? should i face the subs towards the hatch are facing the back of the car.. and are the dr series any good ... i know nothing about any of this and so glad i found this forum so please please help me guys *** *** new and confused***

hello everybody ! new to the site.. hoping toget lotsof help building my system... i have had a 05 f150 fx4 extendedcab for over a year , i currently have a jl audio 13tw5 powered by a jl audio500/1 v1 amp and a double din pioneer also a yellow top otima.... anyways i need more bass! but im lacking the space and i want to keep it daily driven, so im building a box in the center console i have arround 4.5cubes to play with... i decided to go with a 15" fi btl (ported duh) and a sundownaudio saz 2000d( already have them) i already did the big3... should i get a second battery in the back? i just found out Optima's sucks ! bigger alternator ?? i got 4ga wire rite now…

looking for suggestions for upgradeing from my 1 havoc 15 to 2 12s or 2 15s or even 1 18....my budget is about 300$ ...im looking at some obsidians right now.....just looking to be louder than what i got now.....right now im running a 220 amp singer alt...1200 rms hifonics brutus amp and 1 havoc 15 in a 08 grand prix...had it db tested this morning and it hit a 143.1......sub and amp are for sale ...basket is broke on sub but still runs well....about 3 months of play...with proper break in.with box..250$ 150 for amp...its 1 month old

my name is Quade, i'm somewhat becoming an audiophile and was told this is the best site for subs and anything related. I have a Dodge Ram quad cab, I just built a front to back box for 4 12's. I'm currently deciding what 12s i want! I currently have two RE SE 12s and the xt4000-DE that I'd like to sell. I love that system, but I don't know if I should stick with the REs or go to Treo, JL, new Kicker, who knows what. If worst comes to worst, I'll just buy two more SE's I assume. Anyway, glad to be here, just following the rules. haha. And anybody else have huge truck boxes? Just wondering.

Hi guys, I am also a member of the SMD forum and decided I'd like to join this forum also. I drive a Buick Lesabre and run 1 Fi Q 12, powered by a CT Sounds AT1400.1. CT Sounds Meso 6.5" components powered by a CT Sounds 60.4. 1/0 Ga Execution Audio cables/wire, XS Power D3400 battery with stock 140 amp alt. Also use a Alpine HD149BT head unit. Fi Q lives in a ported box (Built by Sound Mekanix Customs) tuned 32-33hz. Just here to sit back relax and gain some knowledge. Thanks guys.

I was reccomended RE SE 12 jus 1 with a hifonics amp 1000w.. Id like to have 2 with amp to make em bump but I dont know anything about the enclosure what to get I need something to at least fit the back of my truck. My budget is really doesnt matter with tax returns coming in so lets say 600-800
