Hey, always been interested in car audio, haven't really had much experience with it though. My job currently deals with a lot of electronics and electricity so figured why not dive in now while I can install it all myself

Heard alot of different opinions on RE's box calculator heard it was off and not accurate but than heard that no matter what you do the tune will never be ACCURATE, which to believe i really have no clue. I am currently in the process of building a new box for my single 12" Cadence ZRS and looking for a new amp that does 900-1300rms at 2ohm, class D monoblock, kinda stiff and cheap on the price of 220 or less depends what it is and i might be able to do more. But back to the box , i have one planned out with RE's box calculator its 2.5cf prob will be less after displacement since im not sure how much to account for, for 45 degree angles and so forth, but id like a nice b…

Hello guys, Looking to do my first semi big build consisting of focal expert 6.5 components up front, almani audio 6.5 rears for midbass, pioneer gm-d8604 amp, Sony xav-712hd DVD player, DC 5.0k amp running @ .5ohm, and a DD 9915 with super charge option although I'm not stuck on running the DD because I have two AA team 18s I could run...decisions! I'll be running a mechman 240a alternator, group 24 agm and 2 H8 agm Batts in the rear with 2 runs (or more?) of 2/0 front to back in my 2007 4runner. My question, how do I got about wiring the front batt to the rear, could I use a bus bar in the rear that ties the two positive terminals of the rear Batts togeth…

hey i just joined up here, joined about 1 week ago at caraudio-forum.com, and been a member at roe.com for about a year. my system (which i will put in my sig.) is an Alpine cda9856, 30g ipod, 2 alpine type r d4 12"s in a 1.49cu. ft. per chamber vented enclosure, knukoncepts 1/0 power/ground wire and sundown audio saz 1500d @ 1ohm. after i get it hooked up an see how my voltage does i will be purchasing a trunk battery as well. the only electrical upgrades i have are 80 amp alt. (stock 65amp) and a duralast gold 1000ca (stock 650ca) battery under the hood. this is all in a black on black w/ chrome trim 1986 lincoln towncar sig. series.

Hey all. I just ordered a HDS 210 through SSA for my Nissan Frontier. I'm powering it with a memphis 16-st1000d pushing 600w rms at 2 ohm. I have an enclosure design I did & plan to also post at the fabrication forum, but I figured throwing it up here first wouldn't hurt. just wanted to introduce myself im Josh 22 years old in the navy for 2 years been wanting to get into car audio since i was 14 just really had the time but im here full force now im stationed down in gulfport mississippi and if anyone knows of any shows arround here please let me know i would love to check them out right now im not running to much just a rockford T1 15 with stock electrical system and a power bass 1200.1 i plan on up grading real soon to either 2 15" or 1 18" FI audio BL with excessive amperage 350amp altenator and 2 yellow top batteries im in the process of upgrading my big 3 im waiting on my 1/0 guage wire
