I could have sworn I've had an account here. I even went to log in and my username/password was stored in Firefox's memory. It would not accept my login. I searched through the memberlist and didn't see myself. Did I get banned or sumtin? haha T

Hi, I'm from Austin, Texas and I consider myself a car audio enthusiast. I fell in love with it the first time i heard a system which was when i was like 12. I like using these forums to find out useful information, and also see other people's experiences/builds/oppinions etc. I hope i can find good info here, and try to positively contribute.

Scott and Fi, I would just like to say thank you for all your time and help with my 3rd straight IASCA Bass Boxing World Championship. You are a great person Scott and Fi BTL's are the best sub I have ever owned. I will never run another sub. I have had 2 other companys offer me free sponsorships since SBN. I told them no thanks I would rather pay Scott thank run your stuff. My 2nd Championship was won with the old BTL's and my 3rd was won with the new BTL's. Scott call me when you get a chance.

Hey guys my name is Steve and I am new to the SSA scene. Iv been into car audio for as long as I can remember. I have always had a stereo myself and enjoy helping friends with theirs. Was looking to buy a Sundown-SAX1200 for my W6's. Bought one from SSA and found the SSA forums so I though I would join up and introduce myself The sundown will be replacing my Orion 600D so I cant wait to hear the difference in power! Im glad to be here and joining a great community! Thanks, Steve

Hey, Ryan here I'm terrible at these intro things so I guess I'll jump right in... In my quest to keep weight in my car low, and to use a small-ish box, I'm really striking out for sub choices. I have a PG RSd10 in a .7 (net) sealed box, stuffed liberally. It gets low, but requires a bit of power and it's pretty annoying above 80Hz. I'm bored, so I was considering porting it. It's a 350 RMS sub, single 4, and supposedly 84dB efficient...although I'm betting that's at 2.83V I'm giving it 400 watts currently. WinISD recommends a 1.8 cu ft box (before port and sub displacement)...ummm...no. Not doing that. Most other subs I look at want 3-4 cu ft Definitely not. Here's wh…

Hey, I'm new to the world of subs/amps and all this. I am buying a new truck soon, don't have a good sound system, I'm wondering what would be good for someone like me I LOVE bass, absolutely love it. What combination of subs/amps would suffice? And can anyone make a guide on how to set it all up once I get the subs/amp? If you need me to be more descriptive about what I like, I can be. something around 2000 watts(both subs together) would be great. (remember I know nothing about subs except that they produce lovely bass)

Well, I've been reading stuff over here for the last few months but never got around to getting involved. Well, now that's changed. I am familiar with a few of the folks on here from FSC and found this site to have a lot more info than I could ever use. I wish I had the time to take it all in. Anyways, I am from Atlanta, born raised and I'll die here. Live in the shadow of the world's largest relief carving staring every morning at Davis, Lee, and Jackson. Man, they sure look grey. Hope to enjoy it here and learn a lot from you folks. Ya'll don't hesitate to ask me anything.

Hey ya'll, finally done enough lurking to (hopefully) not embarrass myself. I'm 27, from Yazoo MS, and own a Monument shop. That's right, tombstones. I've been into car audio since i was 10, and have been building race trucks/mud trucks since i was 14. I have the same problem that I imagine many people have when they first find SSA. I have had probably 25 complete systems, all done by me, but they were are common name brand/low end stuff. Lots of Pioneer, low level Rockford, etc. Even some Audiobahn. Actually, a lot of Audiobahn (flames on the back plate look awesome when you're 17). I'm a victim of the Crutchfield catalog. Remember when they'd send you that thing for lif…

Apparently our first three posts are supposed to be here, so I want to jump right in, haha. Don't judge, but I want to wall two fifteens in my 2001 Jetta. I have very minimal experience sadly, and don't care about ruining the car too much. I'll be powering the two DAD BD15s with an arc KS2500.1 I know I'm leaving out some information that's needed or whatever, so ask away. (:
