hello to everyone, my name is George, im 17. be hoping to get into DB drags soon this summer. thought i could learn alot from this site.

I was thinking about getting 2 BTL 15's, i already have 2 2400 kinetiks, 2 h/o alts, and 2 ma audio 4000D's. I want to know do u think that would be a good set up, should i change the amps or what. Also which would would be better between the 15's and 18's, and how should i get them loaded for daily use.

Hey guys, just here paying my dues in the newbie forum. I'd describe myself as more of a music lover than a basshead. Give me good clean sound quality any day of the week. Whats up guys? I've always had a car stereo system, just the basic mainstream stuff and here lately I've been really getting into the unknown brands of car audio. Unknown where I live anyways. I just acquired anightshade 18 and am going to purchase another one and see how long it takes to beat my truck to death. I'm not here to pretend like I know it all or anything like that, I'm here to learn from the best! Please school the youngster guys. I joined awhile back but never got around to holler. I'm new here but have a small idea of car audio, have a small system but its what I can buy with what I save.

I am building a system and starting off slow. My first purchase as far as amps and subs will be a SAZ-3000 and a Dual 2ohm BTL18. It will be wired at 1ohm for the 3000 rms. I would like to expand on this later with another SAZ-3000 and BLT18 for a combined 6000 rms. I have never strapped 2 amps before and I'm trying to make sure I buy the correct sub to start off with. I understand the impedance for a single amp system but I'm confused as to how it works when you start strapping amps together. What would my impedance be with the two amps strapped and two Dual 2ohm subs? I'm looking for a final 2 ohms since this is what the strapped amps are rated at. This has probably be…

Hello everyone. I am jonblack and I live in Louisiana. I last worked as a car stereo and alarm installer over 15 years ago. Needless to say that most everything has changed since then. I recently bought a 1997 Honda Odyssey van. SInce I have plenty of space I thought I would build a very small system, something I have not had in years. Hiiii, im building a sub box for a ascendant mayhem, but RE calc is wayyy off.. So I was wondering if i could get some help with someone so i can get the understanding of doing this so i dont have to have help again. PLEASE. The Mayhem is single 12", and in ported can only be in 1.75cf - 3cf. And sub displacement i know nothing of which i do and this is confusing i have 2 sheets of plywood ready to be drawn on, all going to be 1.5" thick unless you think otherwise? Was thinking around 25-35 wide, 15-17" high, 18" deep but the hertz from torres, 12 volt, and RE are all different and confuse me! Could someone make up a thing for me that would work prime around 2-3 cubic ft …

I have a 08 chevy crew cab Im running all fosgate components I need to build an enclosure to fit under my back seat I will have to raise the back seat though I am know running a T1000 fosgate amp for my subs and would like to run a FI Bl 12" sub and I have know idea how to get the best damentions for an enclosure the area I will have to work with is best described as a wedge style box 55" long 17"wide And 7" tall on one side and 11" on the other with a notch in the center for the drive line tunnel that is the area I have to work with and I would like to make it out of MDF can any one help me design a box for this

I was wondering if any one has a cut list and a box design for a sa-8 ported-- I orderd a box design from ssa and have yet to get it ( back in March), got the sa-8 and amp , but no disign - have miss two shows cause of the no desing show up- so if any one could help I would really appricate it , I have heard great things about ssa but it seems there having problems with the turnaround time/ or even answering e-mails.$40 ids alot for a design I would think it would not take more than 1- 1/12 weeks to get thank you
