Yep...Santa did it this year: 2 x 18 Fi Bl -Dual 1, Cooling, Flatwind, Daily, Non-universal. Sundown Saz-3000d (thanks acex3a) 180max/135idle Iraggi alternator ~40' of 1/0 welding wire still need to get some 1/0 battery terminals and clamps for 1/0 big three and a new battery under the hood. dunno if I want to tackle the box this time around, might just have a shop do it. planning on doing ~15 cubes after displacement, and tuned to 32 or 33 hz. I know nothing about sound acoustics, and the effects of internal design. so plain jane rectangle is gonna have to jive for now.

Well maybe not totally. I joined back in 2003 when the site came back up. I took about a 15 year hiatus from car audio. Spent some time in college, spent some time on my career, spent a little time on life. Now I'm in a comfortable spot in life where I have the time for treating my car like a toy again. So I figure why not stop back by one of the best forums I remember. Hello, I am in a serious situation here. So, my buddy and I are into this car audio thing. (You'd have to be from Iowa to understand that its looked down upon.) So, he has his two SA-12's on a SAX-1200. And they hit. So, the main thing I was wondering, was what would basically give him a run for his money? I have considered 2 Fi SSD 15's, 2 SA-15's(out of the question, I don't wanna be the homo who copies him), and the main choice I'm complimenting at the moment is a single 15" on a SAX-1200. Possibly an Icon 15"? Any input is abliged. Thanks! -Austin

yes hello i wanna say that i luv this site vry helpful my question is i have 2 us amps md1d one on each kicker l7 15 inch @ 2 ohms. I was wondering how can i set them to get the most out of them and can i bring my subs down to another ohm also they are strap. Thanks for all the help and may this site contuine to floursh. hey folks, just saying waddup. i'm just doing some research as i'm swapping out the crap speakers in my 2008 mazda3 hatch. so far i've put in focal 165ca1's in the rear doors that i'm running off the headunit. i have 165a1's for the front components that i was going to run off a us amps xt800.2 but have recently decided to put in an 8" sub that will fit into a stealth box in the tire jack compartment. so i'm just doing some research on which 8" sub to go with and looking for a 4-channel amp to power the sub and the front components. btw, if anyone is interested in buying a brand new in box us amps xt800.2 let me know.

I'm currently running and icon 12 off 1200 watts in 2.4 cubes at 29hz. I'm wanting to upgrade to a x or zcon 15 off this amp.. http://www.woofersetc.com/st-1650xm-ii-zapco-monoblock-1650w-rms-class-d-amplifier.html i can squeeze 4cubes of enclosure. im think 34-37 hz. Will there be any benefit to getting the z over the x other than feeling cooler with the chunkier sub
