I have been searching for a forum now for quite a while that can help me with my many questions. This seems like the place to be out of all of the other choices. I have had a few trial and error runs with audio systems in the past and now it is time to become a little more serious. Thanks in advance for all of the help I hope to receive!

hey guys, just saying hello. As you can see im new to this board, but have been a member on Caraudio.com for a couple of years now..

In reference to a previous post about 2 Fi BTL18's. My max outer demension are 42 wide x 36 tall x 26 deep. This would be a wall enclosure in the back of a mini-suv. I want to mount the 2 18's on the 42x36 wall. I figured that the box would have enough ft3 but will the 42x36 be enough wood area to mount the 2 subs and have room for a port. The subs would have to mount side by side on the 42 and the port would go above them. I'm afraid that the holes are going to be so big that there won't be any wood left for support

Anybody know the t/s specs for the sx recone from fi audio? I just got an sx 18 with a fi recone that has the int. leads and the extra spider with the 1.4 ohm coils and I wanted to recone my sx 18 with the same set up so I can have matching woofers but I wanted to know if the 1.4 ohm coils will work with my motor so I can go ahead and order a recone but I can't get a response from anyone at fi. So help would be greatly appreciated... Thank You

hi, new guy here. looking to get back into the car audio game.

well, i signed back up after the crash and i figured id share my progress here. i have a 15" fully loaded BTL in a 4 cubes @ 34 hz box, ma audio hk4000d modded to .7 ohms, type x componants, ma audio hk398. the box is finished and carpeted and now im going to start on the false floor, install the second batt, upgrade the wiring, and tune it up. im going to be getting an alternator within the next month.

Well I'm 28 (probobly to old for this stuff but how cares) and from a small town, so been around car audio for about 14 years be have been really getting into it here the last year or so, I've been a frequent reader on ROE and CA and heard good things about this site. Figured I would come on over and see what else I can learn and if anyone will provide me with some input when needed.

Hello guys and gals. My real name is Danny Craig and I live in Sumter South Carolina. I am new to this forum, but not new to car audio. I have been in car audio since the late 80's. Some of my fellow competitors are on this site. Team Sundown and Team Nemisis from the Carolina's pretty much know me and what I have. For those of you who don't know what I have, here it is: I have two American Bass VFL Extreme dvc 2 ohm 1500 watt rms subwoofers and two American Bass VFL-100.1 amplifiers my subs are in a custom built enclosure built by Derrick Haddock. Hello all....I'm a new guy from Tahlequah, Oklahoma. There seems to be quite a few of ya from Texas, so I'll add I'm formally from Bonham, Tx between Sherman and Paris if ya dont know. I have a Chevy Silverado with a boss hu(birthday gift), RF Fanatic P 4" components, Kicker CVR, with a Bazooka BA1500 and a cheap 2 channel amp for the components. Looking to redo everything one piece at a time. Working at Wal-mart doesnt exactly give me an abundant amount of money to spend. Anyways, I'll be posting some questions and look forward to share my somewhat knowledge where it permits. Jess

Hello to all...I am sure I will bump into some of you guys from other forums, I frequent caraudio.com and ocassionally carstereos.org. I am originally from South FL, now live in VA. Been into car audio for nearly 20 years now. I am a flooring contractor by trade, have had my own business for about 8 years now. Wood is my main medium and as such I have more tools for box building than God, so if anybody local needs help with a build just let me know. I look forward to getting to know some of you, Paul

Hello everyone. I'm already on CA and ROE as "boomstang", but now I'm getting ready to do something with my '91 Corvette, so I figured I'd go with the name I use on some Corvette forums. Anyway, I was just checking out some of the new products on SSA, and decided to join the forum while I was here.

Greetings been into car audio since around 96-97 spent my youth in the Daytona Beach area so the SBNs were an every year affair. Found this forum through Fi's site and just looking forward to sharing and learning from others. About to do a complete overhaul of my Accord when I return from Afghanistan so there will be lots of photos of the build to come.
