Hiiii, im building a sub box for a ascendant mayhem, but RE calc is wayyy off.. So I was wondering if i could get some help with someone so i can get the understanding of doing this so i dont have to have help again. PLEASE. The Mayhem is single 12", and in ported can only be in 1.75cf - 3cf. And sub displacement i know nothing of which i do and this is confusing i have 2 sheets of plywood ready to be drawn on, all going to be 1.5" thick unless you think otherwise? Was thinking around 25-35 wide, 15-17" high, 18" deep but the hertz from torres, 12 volt, and RE are all different and confuse me! Could someone make up a thing for me that would work prime around 2-3 cubic ft …

  6. I've been a member here for awhile, but I had not visited or posted very often. That will be changing. For those of you who don't know me, I am a 28 year + veteran in and around the car audio industry, and I have worn virtually every hat to be worn. As much as I love car audio as a serious hobby, I have grown weary of the industry as a profession. In short, there are much better ways to conduct business, especially in the competitve car audio "sound off" arena. A better way has been created: Car Audio Tournament of Champions™ (CATOC™) The CATOC™ "preseason" is starting this month in the greater Phoenix, AZ area. The Car Audio Tournament of Champions™ (CATOC™) star…

hey i'm new here to the forums I discovered this website while on youtube and i doubt i'll ever leave. There so much information floating around on this website its amazing compared to most car audio sites where you have to sort though like 20 topics to find something decent. Anyway right now im just running a very basic setup which is a Alpine 9984 hu, 2 Kicker CVR 10's on a Rockford Fosgate 600watt amp, and some Pioneer door speakers in my 98' F150 extended cab. But soon i'm hoping to upgrade to hopefully a icon 15 with a sundown 1000d amp (the package on the ssa store website) anyway i just wanted to say hi to all!

Yup, another squid... but a damn good looking one. I just bought an '05 4Runner and am halfway through a helluva quality budget build. Scion T1809 HU, MB Quart components/coaxials... and looking for a budget monster 8" sub. I've pretty much decided on a RL-i8 at around .4cuft, but am also looking at an Orphan8... $50 is $50 after all. I was trying to keep the whole thing under $500... and was there with a used Cadence amp and an Alpine 10R... but then I got to looking at how big I was going to need to build a box and it was just too much. Now I need a SMALL box. I've got a few questions about the best way to spend my money and other options... those Tang Band W8 Neo's a…

Whats good, I'm new here and to the whole car audio thing as well. Been browsing these forums for a bit and just recently decided to register lol. Currently getting a 15" Fi BL and would like to have the build done before the end of this month. I posted in the Fi section if you guys know the answers to any of my questions which would be awesome. I'm 18 and a broke college student haha so I cant afford to screw the build up. Will get something better of course when i get the money but the Fi BL will do for now. I'll definitely be a part of these forums, as i'm obsessed with all of this already. Good to be here.

  20. Jim from CA, been on here for somethime and was on longer, but for some reason had to re-register. Anyway, just saying hi and will be looking for some help and opinions on how to best hook up my stuff in the future. It will be going in a 1970 Chevy Blazer I'm sloowly but surely restoring and will be putting a system in it sometime down the road. So far, I have aquired speakers for it little by little and now will concentrate on looking how to configure them around the new Zed Audio amps, and figure out which ones to purchase as budget permits.

Hi guys I'm putting a Sony unit with wireless carplay into my hiace camper next week. There's a pink wire comes out of the head unit that needs to be connected to the VSS (aka speed pulse signal wire) for the maps to work properly. Anyone know where I'd find that on a 2009 petrol hiace? I'm putting a Sony unit with wireless carplay into my hiace camper next week.
