Hey guys the name is Alan and i live in Durham, NC. Been roaming around the forums for the past couple weeks and finally got around to making an account. Ya'll seem like a nice bunch of guys with a lot of car audio knowlege and i cant wait to get to know you all better. Right now iv got a Memphis M3 15 with a pr.500d amp in a 4.3^3 box tuned to 34hz. Iv got a Fi BL on the way thanks to you guys steering me in the right direction and ill soon join the sundown crowd when i get my sae-1200d. well i look forward to good times. peace. oh and a side note i tried to post my M3 and amp for sale says i don't have permission any reason why?

Already posted this question in a different section, but this is my first post so give me a break The trunk of my car( 1999 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI) has opening that connects the trunk with the inside cabin of the car. I was wondering if facing the port towards this opening instead of towards the rear of the car would increase SPL or hurt it. Will the air be pushed into the cabin of the car or will it just be trapped in the trunk bouncing around on it self. I will prob end up leaving a gap of about 3" - 5" between the enclosure and the actual opening because the trunk gets narrow towards the back. Would I have to place the port directly in front of the opening or would h…

Just want to know who is SSA, where just looking over the site i recognize some usernames from other sites yet never seen them with the product at shows they have attended. Our club name is Southern Comfort, we wanted something to do with the south and I think we nailed it with this club name. Alright guys what's up! I need some help here. Right now I have a 97 BMW 318is with a 12'' Kicker CVR in a ported box a 800watt PPI PCX2200 amp. and a ghetto cheap cap from Fry's. Now I need some Components that'll fit just like factory. My local shop told me to go with Focals so that'll probably be what i run with unless i get enough people to tell me i can get something as good for cheaper haha. I was wondering if I could get a sub that'll rape 2 12'' cvr, cvx, jl w6v2. I want a single sub at 800rms that'll use a box that takes almost half my trunk. I do care about SQ. Still posting her as I am a Noob. I mentioned in another post, I have some OZ ME380CS component speakers that I am looking to install in my summer cruiser. I recently cam across a Punch 600a5 for a reasonable price so I scooped it up. I thought about doing a sub on the single channel. I guess I'm wondering what the opinions are on the use of 5 channel amps vs. 4ch and a mono? If the 5ch would be a good option, what would be the best setup considering it the components are crossovers, mid range and mid bass both 4ohm and 6ohm tweeter? The amp specs are: 50x4+100x1@ 4ohms 100x4+100x1@ 2 ohms Comps are rated between 75-125 watts rms Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
