hey, whats goin down, I'm pretty new to car audio, right now I'm choosing a system, I'm probably goin with 1 new MAG and a sundown saz1500D amp and later upgrading to 2 of each, but yeah hope to have fun and what not.

What's up everybody , I have a '94 saturn sl2 and have used dynamat xtreme and dynaliner on the floorpan and doors to quiet it down considerably. Also had major work done on my alternator to strengthen that weak link. Next up will be to upgrade the security system. I hope to learn a lot from this site, thanks to all yall.

Well, I just signed up after leaving the car audio game for awhile. Got myself a sundown 1200d and will be getting some form of a fi 12" sub in a custom fiberglass box.

Search done . No results found for 'who is ssa'. Just want to know who is SSA, where just looking over the site i recognize some usernames from other sites yet never seen them with the product at shows they have attended. I would love to see these subs in action considering the company is in my "backyard" and from what i can see so far the prices are "reasonable".

Seen this forum off the Sundown site so I'm sure it is full of knowledgeable people and good information. Already posted this question in a different section, but this is my first post so give me a break The trunk of my car( 1999 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI) has opening that connects the trunk with the inside cabin of the car. I was wondering if facing the port towards this opening instead of towards the rear of the car would increase SPL or hurt it. Will the air be pushed into the cabin of the car or will it just be trapped in the trunk bouncing around on it self. I will prob end up leaving a gap of about 3" - 5" between the enclosure and the actual opening because the trunk gets narrow towards the back. Would I have to place the port directly in front of the opening or would h…

Can anyone help me out. I have a 2002 S-10 ext. cab and for my sub amp I have a Infinity 611a which is around 650 watts @2ohm. I want to use 3 RE RE-10D4 but someone suggested 2 SR-12D2. I listen to a lot of rap bass heavy music and I just sold my L7 12 for a CVX 12 then I found RE. The reason for wanting to use those subs is $. I can purchase either setup for $150. Will the 3 10's or 2 12's output match the L7 or CVX ? I need some serious help with this and what type of box, sealed or ported. Thanks

Alright guys what's up! I need some help here. Right now I have a 97 BMW 318is with a 12'' Kicker CVR in a ported box a 800watt PPI PCX2200 amp. and a ghetto cheap cap from Fry's. Now I need some Components that'll fit just like factory. My local shop told me to go with Focals so that'll probably be what i run with unless i get enough people to tell me i can get something as good for cheaper haha. I was wondering if I could get a sub that'll rape 2 12'' cvr, cvx, jl w6v2. I want a single sub at 800rms that'll use a box that takes almost half my trunk. I do care about SQ. Hello ssa forum. I'm new to the whole car audio forum. I'm in the works of building a system. Haven't had any slap since high school. As I have found technology has greatly change since then, sure I will have plenty of questions. Run down I have a 07 Saturn ion looking to get a Q18 2 ohm in the trunk running it with a rockford T1500 amp. Should sound good since my car is pretty much just plastic. Been curious if the dent resistant panels are bass proof lol. Just throwing out there clueless on how to power this amp "cheaply" as in not looking to have to buy a alt.
