Sound Deadening

I was just wondering if it is ok to use that rubberized undercoating stuff that comes in a can for the inside of speaker boxes? If it is possible to use would I benefit from it? I'm not looking to but if I do thats fine, I really just want to seal up any "potential" leaks and make sure it won't hurt.

So yeah basically about 2 yrs I installed Rattle Trap extreme in my car. Over the past few weeks its been extremely hot in san antonio and I noticed that there was something leaking out the side of my door. Doing further investigation i discovered it was the rattle trap extreme melting from the inside of the door through the drain holes in my door. So i decided i might as well remove this crap and then i noticed quickly it was too easy to remove it off the outside of my door panel. But as I was about to begin removing it on the inside of the door i realized it was way too hard using physical strength. Anybody know the best way to remove the rattle trap extreme and clean o…

Has anybody tried putting anytype of liquid deadener on the inside of their plastic door panels? Ive been looking at edead v5 ctherm and second skin spectrum/sludge and was wondering if anybody had any good results without having to put any type of sound deadening tiles before hand.

See alot of people using this product.. its cheaper than second skin.. how does it perform compared to second skin? Im considering deadening my tahoe so ill need alot... this stuff just seems cheap lol... but what do I know im just goin off pictures. anybody use it that can give me some sort of review? appreciate any help.

This has probably gone over HUNDREDS of times but the search function didnt give me the results I was looking for. From what I have read sound deadening will make you lose spl? Well I like my sub being loud but I hate the rattle from my trunk. What is the best way to apply Second Skin (Seemed to be the best) without losing the loud boom that I am going for? Okay so im gonna be running four Sundown Audio SA-8's on a SAZ2000d. Im working on building a fiberglass box for them in my Silverado and I have heard some stuff about deadening the interior of the enclosure to gain spl and sq as well. Is this true? If so what kinds of deadener would you recomend? im guessing spray but any suggestions are helpful thanks.
