After down time almost weekly as of late from our existing host who we've been with for years and years, in fact, I can't remember how long it's been so long, we have finally given up on them and changed to a new host. Our new dedicated box has 4 times the RAM, and twice the processor, also an SSD hard drive, so site load time and performance should be very notifiable. The move is all done, and SSA is now on the new dedicated server. The other forums are also, but I have to work out some php handler issues before they will be working properly. Date: Saturday August 25 Location: Club Regent Casino Parking Lot - 1425 regent Ave, Winnipeg Manitoba Time: Registration is a 10:00am; Competition begins at 12:00pm This is an *unsanctioned* dB Drag event. General rules will follow standard dB Drag guidelines with a few exceptions to make people's lives a bit easier. Registration for the competition is free. There will be a 1st and runner-up trophy for each class, along with prize draws for those in attendance. Sponsored by your's truly (Mach 5 Audio).

Denim and I have been thinking about ways to get more traffic back to the forum, and have a few ideas about contests, like a classifieds contest, were we would pick a random user every month for a prize, but I am sure you guys have some great ideas for contests.... lets come up with a great idea, and get this place back on top of the forum game, once again...

im going to be hosting a crank it up in jennings louisiana at sonic drive inn. its going to start at 2pm... (this will be a small car/truck show also) this will be a nosanction event, this is something im doing to meet and help ppl with there system's. as of right now it's looking like its going to be a good turn out, but the more the marryer.... there will be only a first place given, just tell i see how it go's. if everythink works out ill have more events around and second, third place trophys.... this is the class's ive came up with, now i know its not perfect but i think it will be fair.... I don't know if this is some type of repost or even if i put it in the correct area, but i just noticed that yesterday was a record day in terms of visitors here. 257 members viewed the forums, not including all the lurkers (and there are a ton around) Pretty impressive, looks like you guys have been experiencing a pretty steady growth. Hopefully this trend continues for years to come

Just droppin a line to all. I am back! Yeah I made my re-appearance on caraudio.com not long ago, but I have been busy as hell plotting out a new system for the 2005 Dodge ram quad cab... and getting business rolling after my move back to WI, as well as planning out servers and computer systems I am ordering tomorrow. I will be in and out, so just give me a shout.

This new addition at the bottom of the screen is awesome and i also noticed it has the ability to send files to friends in your list. Well, i tried to send a file to someone a week ago and it just sat there forever doing nothing. I don't know if any of you have any insight on this feature but would like to know really how it works to see if it's beneficial to even use or if i need to just host files i need to send.
