We are testing the 3.0 beta version of new Invision board software. This is a highly anticipated release, Mark himself has been waiting for over a year now. This stands to stomp Vbulletin in terms of features, functionality and search engine optimization. It has a ton of features built in that we have been installing one at a time on the older version of the software, some causing bugs or errors.. This will be what we move SSA, CA-F, and CLZZ to here very soon. We wanted to give you guys the opportunity to see the new software before it is released, kind of a peak behind the curtain, and also a chance to find any issues now before we convert the forum completely over…

Since the Gear Graphx wasn't such a hit and we had way to much going on, and the addition of two more sub lines coming very soon....we decided to make things much cleaner around here. as of today, CA-F has now been converted over to Invsion Power Board, the same as SSA's software. We moved ahead with the conversion because we believe that people were not sticking around there based on the forum software, it was kind of strange in comparision to the norm. At the request of a member, I've installed this mod. And it is awesome. Above and beyond what Vbulletin's thread hover does. Check out the screen shot of it. **this mod doesn't work in recent topics on the top of the board, you have to enter a forum section for it to work. Irronically this mod doesn't work in the annoucement section. hmm??

it's called "impression" you can see it by logging into your account, and bottom left of the board, is your skin selector. it's basically stock right now, but alot of you guys will love it i'm sure. Enjoy.

I don't know if this is some type of repost or even if i put it in the correct area, but i just noticed that yesterday was a record day in terms of visitors here. 257 members viewed the forums, not including all the lurkers (and there are a ton around) Pretty impressive, looks like you guys have been experiencing a pretty steady growth. Hopefully this trend continues for years to come

Just added google search to the site. I felt that the IPB search was limited and this was a needed addition. Feel free to use it and make sure you click a few ads in the results to help support SSA's never ending hosting fee's etc...

Where did the top part of the main page go? The one that listed topics that were posted in recently...

Thanks for baring with us, we are now in contact with Invision Power Services to upgrade out board with the most recent copy of their software that includes a new REcaptcha system for spam bots. Essentially should solve the problem.

Just opening this thread for discussion and to see who all wants to come. Right now I have set the meet for September 6. This is not is stone so we can change it if need be. Me and Kent have been talking about this for some time and we finally decided to put it into action before the weather changes around here.
