Now I know a lot of people dont care/ dislike SMD forums in every single way so I dont want this to be a pissing match, but you have to have the heart to read this story that made the news. A member on the forums "Nine8SST" has a daughter who has cerebral palsy and she has an expensive custom made bicycle that she cannot ride because her condition has progressed so much. so last night, me and my buddy decided to go ahead and plast-dip what we had origionally planned. so went to lowes, and bought 3 can and a roll of painters tape for $27. i took photo's from start to finish and a little video (with a treat at the end to myself haha front bumper taped up and ready to go sides are ready as well first layer first layer side forst layer bumper final instead of having white paint, tan botome trim, and black rims, its all whine and black another craigslist gem of mine. $30 :) (box) video: LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU ALL THINK!!

so my buddy just got a 2010 f350 6.4L diesel and he was wanting to make it look sick without droppin ghella cash. he is going with a red and black paint scheme. the truck is already red so he want to make everything else black ( bumbers,rocker panels...ect.) so we was on youtube and came across this stuff called plati-dip. it sprays on like a spray can but when it drys, it forms a coat over whatever you want. and the best part, if u dont like it, it peals right off without leaving and residue or anything!! so i went to lowes and bought a few cans and some masking tape and gave it a whirl on my rear bumber of my f150..... I hoped in my truck headed to work, I cranked up my truck and it was running for about 15 seconds then shutoff like it seized up. I was like shit my belt jumped off and wound up in the pulley or my 0 gauge got snagged by the belt. After about 5 seconds of cussing in my head, I heard a meow. I popped the hood and found a 2 month old kitten mangled in my dual alt bracket and belt. It was still alive so I managed to disassemble my truck and pop the belt off. It rolled out on the ground, all the legs were broke and it had a huge gash behind its head. So I poped out the ole pistol and ended its suffering. I can now officially say my belt and alts are kitty proof lol!!

Hey guys. I have a 30 gig iPod video that I have had since 2006. I use it in the car to store music and inside my house with my surround sound. The display has went out on it, but it functions fine with anything that doesn't need the iPod screen for functioning, such as my head unit. . The backlight still works, but it's just a blue and gray blank screen. All buttons still work. I have seen the displays on eBay for as low as six bucks, and simple looking tutorials on YouTube on how to replace it. My question is, has anyone on here ever actually replaced one?
