I'm running for March 2010 System of The Month on the $MD forums. I'm asking all my fellow members here who are also a part of the $MD forum and those interested, to cast a vote for me. Mainly i want to know if their are any car audio careers that pay good like engineers and everything. Like working for a big company or starting your own. The reason i ask this is because I am a junior and havent really decided on a career. I like doing car audio but just want to know if it pays good. Is their electrical engineers in big companies.Like Scott from Fi i want to know what his position was at RE and if it actually paid good. Or any other person in the car audio world.

So I am finally getting my license back april 19th after losing it in october for dumb reasons. While I have been suspended I have been uprading my subwoofer, from a 15" kove Armageddon original 1999 subwoofer, to my great 15" ssa xcon. Its only being powered by my hifonics 1610d at 1600rms at 1 ohm, its sounds good, but it distorts to easy for my tastes. This is a thread to vent about the little things in life that make you scratch your head or drive you crazy. For example.....why do Pizza Rolls only provide directions for making 6 pizza rolls in the microwave, but sell them in quantities that are not evenly divisible by 6 so that you always end up with some left over? We have a box that says quantity 15, then directions for cooking 6 at at time.....no one got the bright idea to just put another 3 in the box?

How many of you guys are drag racing fans, specifically Top Fuel and Funny Car. I'm just about gay for it. So ever since i've been trying to set up my new system (see tag), i've had one set back after another. 1.) My BTL magnets were help up in customs (normal) and it took a little longer to get to me. EVERYWHERE. there was a thread on SSA about it and i chimed in my findings. i waited for about 2 months until i finally decided to go ahead and get another battery. So…

I just watched a news feed about a Toyota sedan racing down the highway at high speeds while a Police Car got ahead of it and helped it come to a stop......... I know that Toyota has recalled most cars because of this problem but I see a bigger one that JUST BOGGLES MY MIND why didn't he just TURN OFF THE IGNITION and kill the engine or put the damn thing in NEUTRAL ??? instead he let it race out at high speeds riding the brakes ,burning them off while calling 911......JUST WOW...LOL are people really that dumb??????? wholly

so i've been wondering the different ways that users put security into their car. especially since there are usually $1000's in audio equipment sitting in there. alarms? park in garage? NRA sticker? Shatter Proof Glass? i'm just curious =] also, i hear about people getting insurance on their items so they can get fully refunded if stolen; any of you ever do anything like that? (i'm seriously considering it) thanks!
