I'm running for March 2010 System of The Month on the $MD forums. I'm asking all my fellow members here who are also a part of the $MD forum and those interested, to cast a vote for me. Cannot believe we don't have a topic by now. Anyway, who is following it, and if so who are your rooting for. As I have for every single one of my 32 years, I am rooting for the MD Terps. They play the first round game against Houston tonight at 10:00pm est. Which is 23 minutes away. Cannot wait.

Mainly i want to know if their are any car audio careers that pay good like engineers and everything. Like working for a big company or starting your own. The reason i ask this is because I am a junior and havent really decided on a career. I like doing car audio but just want to know if it pays good. Is their electrical engineers in big companies.Like Scott from Fi i want to know what his position was at RE and if it actually paid good. Or any other person in the car audio world.

I don't know why but every time i want to change my picture it is a pain in the ass, does anyone else have this problem?

This is a thread to vent about the little things in life that make you scratch your head or drive you crazy. For example.....why do Pizza Rolls only provide directions for making 6 pizza rolls in the microwave, but sell them in quantities that are not evenly divisible by 6 so that you always end up with some left over? We have a box that says quantity 15, then directions for cooking 6 at at time.....no one got the bright idea to just put another 3 in the box?

How many of you guys are drag racing fans, specifically Top Fuel and Funny Car. I'm just about gay for it. I have nhra.com "live timing" up so I can watch qualifying numbers while I work on the computer. I even had our Daber Audio logo on Tim Wilkerson's Funny Car for the first two events. I'm not sure if the sticker is on it at Gainesville this weekend because he just got his new body. I guess I will see when the pictures come out on CompetitionPlus.com tonight. I'm also loving the fact that Pro Mod is now an NHRA recognized class. Just wanted to know if there were any other NHRA fan boys on here.

I just watched a news feed about a Toyota sedan racing down the highway at high speeds while a Police Car got ahead of it and helped it come to a stop......... I know that Toyota has recalled most cars because of this problem but I see a bigger one that JUST BOGGLES MY MIND why didn't he just TURN OFF THE IGNITION and kill the engine or put the damn thing in NEUTRAL ??? instead he let it race out at high speeds riding the brakes ,burning them off while calling 911......JUST WOW...LOL are people really that dumb??????? wholly

so i've been wondering the different ways that users put security into their car. especially since there are usually $1000's in audio equipment sitting in there. alarms? park in garage? NRA sticker? Shatter Proof Glass? i'm just curious =] also, i hear about people getting insurance on their items so they can get fully refunded if stolen; any of you ever do anything like that? Kimberly, (our middle daughter), had her tonsil surgery today, she had them and her adnoids removed. they were reported as being three times the normal size. it all went well however, she will be recovering for at least 10 days, the critical time in these surgeries is 7 to 10 days out, this is when the burns become scabs and begin to fall away, or tear away, and there is the most potential for a re-bleed, if this does occur, the whole process will be repeated, minus the removal of coarse. she is on simple diet of stuff that is cool and soft, but she has quickly learned that too much of something can be a bad thing. 5pm...... "dad, i am hungry"..... you want a pop cycle? …

does anyone else here have or had issues with simply being able to fall asleep at a reasonable time? A typical night i stay up til 4 to 6am, simply because i just dont get tired. Most people normally say "well just lay there with your eyes shut", but ive always just never been able to fall asleep unless im actually tired. The only way i can ever fall asleep before 2am is if i run off 5 hours of sleep all day, which sucks ass to do. I feel like i can never get the right amount of sleep to be tired at the end of the day; its always either lack of sleep, barely getting through the whole day so I can fall asleep at the right time to wake up for school, or oversleeping and…
