you stay up til 5:30 in the morning just reading through tons of threads on car audio forums knowing the whole time you have to be up at 10 in the morning to go to class, and then have to come home and write a big ass paper for the next class you have at 6pm, and know that theres NO time for a nap whatsoever, not even a little one. I was curious to see how many people that want performance exhaust want to combine it with their system? Personally i wouldn't give up the good sounding exhaust. Straight pipe exhaust does throw in a lot of extra noise but i just wouldn't be able to not have it. What do you guys think about your exhaust noise combined with your "SQ setup"? How many do it and who's given the exhaust up? I know a lot of people here have gone over and beyond measures in order to keep your cab quiet and seperate from outside noise.

My first system was in an 88 Sunbird convertible, 1 Cerwin Vega XL-12 powered by an Earthquake 250x ( think that's what it was called at least) later I added some Blaupunkt 6x9's powered by an Alpine 3522. I upgraded to a pair of punch XLC's shortly thereafter and eventually some Audiobahn Alum 10's before I junked the car because a large portion of the top tore off and it had no heat in January in Minnesota. I am looking to buy these 20 inch rims and I need to know if these will fit. All i know is that the rims are 20's, they come off an Infiniti. The tire size on them is 245/35/20. I was told I can fit them. But i need some advice. They will be going on my 2006 Nissan Altima. Thanks all. I'm supposed to go look at rims in a little while.

I can't figure out how to make my speedtest result my signature, I see other people do it and it doesn't work. Every time I try to load it, it says its to big, that it has to be less than 800x1000 pixels or something like that and I know this pic isn't even close being 800x1000, so what am I doing wrong???

I know I may seem dumb to some of you guys on here since you guys are pro's and know your stuff. But audio, whether its car audio or house audio or even headphones it not my hobby its my passion, my obsession. I want to learn everything about it, not just the basics, I want to know everything even if its barely necessary. As the title says, I have like 22 invitations for google wave. If anyone wants one, just let me know. If you don't know what google wave is, it's kind of like email, instant messaging, and a forum wrapped into one. One really cool thing about it is, is that you can actually watch someone responding to a message because it constantly streams updates. It's still in the beta phase and takes a little getting used to but I found that once you get it, it ends up becoming a very useful tool.

So I'm currently taking differential equations and it is quite possibly THE most difficult and confusing course I have ever taken. Are there any engineers/math majors out there that have any tips on getting through this course?

I found out some news when I went to work the other day Best Buy has dropped rockford and now will be carrying kicker and polk audio. I have talked several other installers that work for best buy as I do, and most of them really are excited about it. I am just wondering how well its going to go over. I admit that our selections are limited in stores,but ther are a lot of customers that do come and ask for Kicker products. The only thing that I can see that would make this not be a good move, is that if they dont carry the full line in stores and just keep the low end stuff.

Well, unfortunately chop isn't able to get online at the moment and he has requested that I post something here. Well I would like to say thanks for everybody that helped me out. Anyway I am trying to get a list of good songs to play on my system. The front end can actually keep up with the woofer for the most part. Here is a list of songs that seems to hit the "sweet" spot on my system. Its a 3.5 cuFt box tuned to about 31.5hz (I am actually think now I tuned too low. Maybe this summer I will fix it). Any suggestions of songs to try would be awesome!
