So I've been spending my summers in the upper peninsula of Michigan all my life. It's a great place, but needless to say, the mosquitoes here get pretty freaking ridiculous with our swamp out back. I've heard some pretty crazy remedies for trying to stop the itch (everything from mint leaves, to lemon juice, to dog saliva). I was wondering if anyone out there has any homemade remedies. The Mazda gets driven 10 minutes a day - five minutes to location, 5 minutes back home. There's 113, 000 km's on it ... and it's a 1992 - so we are looking at roughly 8700km's / year (last few years have been only 5000km's or so). It's only driven in the city, and like I said, for only 10 minutes a day. It only does the speed limit back and forth, so 60 km/h. So it barely gets used, right? Come September, it'll go from 10 minutes a day, to almost an hour a day @ 90-100 km/h speeds. 30 km's each way, for a total of around 60 km's every day. 50 extra km's per day than what it does now. so yea, i've been wanting a film camera, because i think you can get some astounding pictures with them, and i love playing with shutter speeds. only problem is, i dont know what to look for, and also, i dont want to spend much at all. i know i wont use it enough to justify putting some cash into one, im just wanting it to take a few cool shots when im bored. any advice on what kind of camera to look for? i dont care if it is old as hell and looks the same, as long as it works.

While I was at work today, someone somehow managed to get into my car and grab my two week old Glock 26 9mm and my wallet. What a day. Any suggestions on what I can do to recover this thing? I've already filed a police report and I will be checking local pawn shops as well as setting up cameras around our cars (mine wasn't the only one that someone got into). This sucks... That thing wasn't cheap and a gun is not something to be on the streets...

I have a 4.8 in my truck and the gas mileage was ~15.9, mixed highway and city. Plus the thing drives like a tank with a moped motor, so extra power wouldn't hurt. Install took around an hour and was very simple. After cranking up I noticed a lot smoother, more steady idle. When taking off it really will get up and go now.
