Well the other day I was talking to a friend about music and he said he was selling a couple of his drumsets ( kid has 3...... ). Anyways I asked him how much/brand/etc. Anyways he sold me this: it's a gretsch u.s. maple with a pearl maple snare. I don't care for the stands but I'm changing those soon(probably dw stuff). Cymbals: Sabian aa regular hi-hat, zildjian a custom 16" brilliant crash, Sabian 21" hh raw bell dry ride, and Zildjian 18" china. The hi hat stand is missing the piece to open and close the cymbals but I'm about to buy a new stand anyways, one that works with double bass pedals(2 feet instead of 3 feet). Came with a tama iron cobra double bass. …

These Youtube Posts Have Been Brought To My Attention, I'm Sure You'll Agree With Me, This Guy's An Idiot. The Subject Is Capacitors. go die, you know nothing about electronics. you still need one to smooth out the ruff current off the alternator. a deep cycle bat is not going to take 100 amp hits without a voltage drop re-spinning your alternator will do nothing but shit "All they do is fill in gaps of power consumption under peak consumption" yes that kinda very important, and they also smooth out ruff current you dip shit. if you want the best sound you need a capacitor. go back to school dip shit. fuck you if he dont have a capacitor he fails fuck u and ur pucki…

Ive been lurking around audio forums for awhile now trying to pick up as much technical info as I can to better understand the actual physics behind the audio design concepts. I understand the basic electrical principles and have a very limited knowledge on the physics behind acoustics from lurking here and my physics classes, but besides changing my major to acoustical engineering, i dnt think im going to be able to pick up the level of technical know-how that im looking for without some good reference literature. I was just wondering if some of the members here could throw out some titles that I could study to really start getting some in-depth knowledge of different de…

I'm just looking for the Okies that are hiding on here. Feel free to pipe up, introduce yourselves, and throw down you general area. I'm from OKC. I drive a 2004 Chevy Ext Cab, still debating on what "system" I want to go with. My truck is currently all stock inside, and a couple of bolt-ons outside.

Looking for a video that was on Youtube that showed his Tahoe dashboard flexing to 4 18" BTL's. I can't find it anymore. There's also another one where his center roof console drops. Both kind of old vids but classics. I think someone else other than Steve had uploaded them.

So I was doing some thinking tonight and I got curious to know what the loudest vehicle someone has sat in. I've heard at a certain point that your blood will come to the surface of your skin (full body hickie) at around 170 or so. I've personally sat in DB Dons port with a 165 at 45 hertz. The experience was "breath-taking". I mean that quite literally. I didn't lose complete use of my vision. however it did feel like I was drowning. I also was able to wave my arms for them to turn it off. Anyone else want to share?
