That leads to 3 questions: 1) What are these "actual higher results"? 2) What was the test methodology for determining these "actual higher results"? 3) Why is the amplifier not rated at the "actual higher results" if that is the level of their true performance and you're just going to add a disclaimer that the rated power is less than their actual power anyways?

I've been seeing alot of ages fly by the last couple weeks and have to wonder if there is anyone older than me hanging out here. I hit 41 in April. I competed in the late 80's early 90's but between kids and going back to college at 29 (1993 for you math junkies) I fell by the wayside and just kept a nice system for my own tastes. I am now thinking of jumping back in the lanes and have a dedicated partner in my son who will be 16 next month, and wonder if there are many of us old timers left still lurking :ph34r: about.

So Edward and I drove down from Austin to visit our boy Bigjon, and it was chill....sat outside on a cloud less Sunday afternoon in the Lone star state and then had a Pass with the meter. Other than that, I say that we should do this at least once every 2-3 months if not more often. Since my sub is out of service at the moment I bridged my 6x9's and turned the x-over off and I was amazed for them being 6x9's I knew they where loud but I could seriously feel air moving from them and they are 6-8ft behind me in the back of my wagon in some free-air enclosures. so i orderd my alt from ireggi and i got it in about 4 days after placing my order, but when i open the box to install it i find out that its the wrong one i placed my order on the 5th of may and got it on the 9th, so the service at first was great but then after that it all went to chit, i have been trying to call him about 5 times a day every day since the 9th and its now june 3rd and i have yet to get him on the phone once. For 4/0 terminals.. what provides a better, long lasting connection for what it's worth? There is a big price difference here and i'm fine with buying a hydraulic crimper but i hear that a hammer crimper is just fine. But how fine is it? I will probably be crimping around 250 terminals. What is the more logical choice between the two to purchase?
