So I've been wanting to get a dog for a few weeks now and trying to really decide on what kind to get. I really really really wanted a malamute, it was seriously my first pick but after much discussion with friends online and my family it was said that the weather here in arkansas would make that dog a bad pick. So I have narrowed it down to either a golden retriever(I've had 2 in my life growing up, awesome dog) or a beagle. I've never owned a beagle but I had a friend who used to have one and it was a very very loving dog. It's really a tough call and I'm just wondering what you guys think. Thx for all replies!!!

Ok. I give up. How do I post a pic in the forums. I did a search and can't find anything. I can't copy and paste, that doesn't work. When I click on the "Insert Image" button a box comes up asking for an URL. The image that I want to post is on my computer and doesn't have an URL. Any help would be appreciated. Mike

It was a good movie, but I felt like I was watching it with idiots. Lots of people did not "get" some of the subtle jokes, ie. Kenny G, the Kennedy and Monroe relationship, or any of the subtleties. Good movie though.

i recently finnished this anime series called the "melancholy of haruhi suzumiya" although it may look stoopid, its very good. anyways the series brought up some topics that have been racking my brain for the past year or so. what im going to copy and paste is just my random thoughts on time travel. a few of the thoughts may be out of place, but i just typed what came out of my head at the time: "This series is insane. it has like every genre of anime there is to offer. It reminds me of SE Lain mixed with Kare Kano mixed with Beck, mixed with Fate Stay Night, mixed with some crazy space anime. I dont think i have ever laughed so much in an anime, outside of Furi Kur…

So I saw a story on my local news tonight that made me kind of mad..... http://www.wftv.com/video/11273875/index.html I truly wonder if the problem would have made the news if the neighbor had a rotweiller or maybe a german shepherd. I also may be a little biased because I am a fan of pitbulls and have helped raise my brothers pitbull. add your thoughts or opinions and also pics of your pits if you have them.... This is Otis he is not in as good of shape anymore as he is almost Ten and doesnt do a whole lot. He however still eats cheerios out of my nieces hand.

Before the great data loss of '07, I had a topic that I was daily tracking the alexa traffic ranking of main domain of SSA. As of today the number is the best since I had alexa track our ranking. We are currently sitting at: 978,558 before the upgrade we were hovering in the upper 99x,xxx to 115,xxx range. The closer to 1 the better.

I'm wondering if anyone here is a red cross certified life guard. I have 3 year BSA certification and CPR & First Aid certification. I'm growing tired of the monotony of repairing computers and working with my father. I have connections at the local pool but you have to be Red Cross certified. What I'm asking is, what are the major dificulties in red cross certification? Past learning the saves properly and the hours of treading water while learning them, BSA is pretty simple in my opinion. Except the whole 1 mile per day 2.5 mile on the last day, swim thing. But I elected to do that, it was not required. I would have a $1 per hour pay increase and I would be doing s…

I have seen some very good ones lately, but I have to recommend The Prestige. Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan are an unbelievable team. I have read the book and Bale plays a very good Alfred Borden. The film is shot very well and the plot is very circular, which I love. I saw it twice in theaters and downloaded the dvd a few weeks ago; just got a chance to watch it again last night. What are some movies you have seen recently that everyone else must see?
