After receiving last month's energy bill ($200 for a 2 BR/2 Bath/Kitchen/Living Room Condo), I have been considering different ways to save money on my energy bill. I have turned the air conditioner on a higher temperature, and I have also tried to keep my lights off. I was messing with my new LED flashlight that I got off of ebay the other day, and I realized that it doesn't hardly use any power compared to other bulb flashlights I have owned. In fact, running 12 LED's off of 1 AA battery for 12 hours straight only slightly dimmed the light output, and after it was turned off for 30 minutes or so, the same brightness returned. I just saved a bunch of money by switching to Geico, seriously, I have been with progressive since 1998 and their service has been great, but my re-newly policy just came through and because of a speeding ticket back in Feb 23, 2005, they wanted to jump my monthly insurance $120, but calling geico, which I thought I would never do, my monthly decreased $143, this is for both vehicles, and 35k-38k a year driving, masters, and no DWI's bringing my 6 month premium for a 4x4 SUV and 2 door lux car to $1319 yeah baby!!! YOU CAN DOOOO ETTTTT

Just how much cash do you think this is? (Other than more than I should be spending right now...)

I am looking at 2 Tv's that I want to get. I know very little about modern TV technology. Ok so first off looooong time no post. My life has been nuts and all I do is work. Ive been looking online for headers/catback for the burb. I noticed that Summit has pretty cheap headers as well as cat backs. Is it worth it ? I definetly dont want flowmaster mufflers/catback because I HATE the sound that they make. P.S I was also told that going with a 1 5/8" header pipe would be better than a 1 1/2" pipe for flow reasons. The only company that offers the 1 5/8" headers for a decient price is Edelbrock. The majority of them offer 1 1/2" header pipe inc Summit. Remember, im poor. summit>jegs

So I got the wild idea to see exactly how much I spend on gas and food during the week. After 3 weeks this is what I have found. My job is 28 miles each way 5 days a week gas is ~$2.86 a gallon truck gets ~13mpg average around town. So... 28*2=56 miles a day 56*5=280 miles a week 280/13=21.53gallons of gas 21.53*2.86=$61.60 a week in savings 61.60*52=$3203.20 savings per year Now I will be driving every other week in the car pool so I will actually be saving $123.20 a month. Well my friend just invited me to go with him to Las Vegas for the SEMA show. Before this I had never even heard of SEMA(I know I'm a n00b), but it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. Anyone else gonna be out there? I believe it's November 1st - 4? or something like that. Plane tickets are gonna kill me though, it's like 600 bucks.

baiscly i got pulled over fo rmy music cuz i aint see the cop, no ticket given but he was an ass. But he said i needed a liscense to have an amplified vehicle, i looked up the ordinace rules for indianapolis, and it bascly says u need a liscense if ur a commercial driver, say for like an ice cream man or somethin, nothin about non commercial use.
